21-3 over Mississippi State.Great coach and great man. (as an aside we would then lose the next 5 vs Miss State)

Thanks for that picture. He looks devastated.

Cholly Mac was a great coach. My time at LSU was made special (69-72 season) by that man and some damn good football teams!

"Cholly Mac" was a superb defensive coach. Was a driving force in Diezel success.

I remember people saying after Dietzel was coach at Army and not doing so well in game he glanced over his shoulder - he was looking for McClenden to bail him out.
