Right, thought that's why he left ASU and came to a school like LSU to take advantage of it's receiving core. Seasons bout half over now. If not now, when?

I can't really comment without seeing the entire field on passing plays or knowing what he is being told to do.

I think Kelly has been telling us what he's been told to do and Daniels still isn't confident enough.

The behind the LOS sky cam has been very telling on some of these, plenty of guys getting open and JD is either not seeing them or isn't willing to pull the trigger. Either way, he has to fix that and fast.

I'm a Daniels fan but he has to quit worrying about making a mistake and let it fly. I think he has a good arm but it's useless if he's too scared.

I think they threw that formation out on NM last week. I know I counted at least 3 TE's on a goal line play.

I have also seen sky cam views of no receiver being open by the time the pocket collapses. But yeah, Kelly's comments about Daniels needing to be more aggressive are indeed telling. Just hope it doesn't lead to critical turnovers...

He showed a lot of determination on that scramble where he lost his shoe

I'm rooting for Daniels. I want it to "click" for him in regards to throwing the ball down the field. If he can just start making some throws downfield and anticipating guys getting open the sky is the limit for this offense. I know WR deserve some of the blame but Daniels has to start letting go of the ball. Once WRs realize he's actuslly gonns throw it I suspect their play will improve dramatically ad well.

There's multiple sides to this. In general, some blame has to be placed on the receivers as well. They're dropping balls and running poor routes, not getting enough separation, etc.

But on the other side, if you get a 1-on-1 with Nabers, or Thomas, or even Boutte if he's left 1-on-1 by some miracle, you have to take that shot as well and expect your receiver to make a play.

Lots of dropped balls, kelly admitted they didn't prepare him well for the types of coverages he was seeing.

Whenever you see Storz in the game it's usually a short yardage or goal line play. Watch him and appreciate the block he'll throw because it's gonna be a good one and usually at the point of attack. He doesn't look, nor play football, anything like a former baseball player.

In his defense, we look like a team that couldn’t catch herp in a whorehouse over the last few weeks.

I believe he was told not to run it much in the Auburn game. He stood in the pocket quite a bit. Auburn DL turned him in and folded on him.

I'll bet you a dollar to a donut that he's been told if it's not there, run or throw it away. He's just not willing to make a risky throw at this point. JMHO

In his defense, it’s working. He has thrown 0 INTs this year.

And we are one of the worst teams in all of cfb at gaining passing yards when a pass is thrown so i guess cool on the 0 ints
