I see where you are going with this Asllan. I'm grading the player against every other player in collegiate ball. Some of my numbers may seem to be noticeably high or low depending on viewpoints.

If I was to grade every player currently against the average major league player, (the true MLB scouting handbook) I would hardly get out of the (25-50) range, because let's face it a typical SEC collegiate team only has 2-3 true pro prospects that have a chance to sniff the major leagues.

The way I use my scale it gives more of range to grade against. Even then I don't like giving out 80's unless that player is the definition of the best in his category.

Agreed. The scale has different meaning to scouts looking for draft eligible players in HS and college and scouts inside their own system looking at minor league talent.

Hey boxtards

I don't really want to start a new thread but I have a question; how easy is it to get a ticket to a regional game if we are fortunate enough to host one?

Usually tickets are hard to find if you don't know the right places to look and the number of tickets you want together. With that being said, people do sell them and GA standing room only are not too hard to come by.

4 of our first 5 starting pitchers are from Missouri or Illinois. That's kind of interesting.

One of Latz and Papierski's teammates is a Freshman on St Louis U's baseball team. They must have had a loaded HS team.

SEC West
1. LSU (18-12)

Come on guys, you all give me shite because I make an amateur opinion post on the season but I said LSU would be 19-11 this season and win the West.

I am not that crazy with my predictions. I just tend to miss a few things here and there.

Oh I know...

I just think since it is baseball time and we all share a love for this team, maybe we could all just relax a little bit.

At a booster lunch in Houston today, UH head coach Todd Whitting said he expects LSU to win the national title this year.
