The only way he comes back is if the MLB season is cut short w/out a CBA in place the draft could be pushed or restructured cap could have an effect on the draft slotting financially.

I really don’t see how he would be a first round pick right now.

He could work his way into a top ten or he could work his way into a twentieth round pick.

Milan was a sure bet this year. He hasn’t done jack shite at the plate, and yes they are different players, but Milam isnt drafted for defense at five foot nothing with not much speed.

I dont think he will return because the things he will want to improve upon just won't happen. His swing isn't a swing built for power. It's built for doubles and spraying the ball all over the field.

I'd agree with those saying that if he doesn't go in 1st round and get a good signing bonus, that it's a decent chance he comes back. They'll offer him a pretty good NIL package and that would be better than riding greyhound buses to small ballparks and eating at Burger King. The college game is better than the minors.

I think if he goes in the first round, there’s less than a 1% chance he comes back.

However, if he slips into the 2nd or even 3rd, being that he’s a draft eligible sophomore,

He's not coming back. And he's not slipping that far.
