Baw ain't going nowhere. He loves it too much at LSU and still has things he wants to work on while in college. Plus, he's making damn good money and living a lot better of a life than he will be as a minor leaguer for the 3 or so years it'll take him to make it to the show.

I’d agree. Plain and simple he’s not ready

you to the minors to get ready...If MLB wants him they will get him. Not much else he can do at the collegiate level other than be a year older and maybe get a bit more pop.

the rest of his game is ELITE

We must be watching two different players. His approach can be elite at times when he isn’t trying too hard to put one over the fence. I wouldn’t describe his fielding or arm as elite.

He’s not ready to see elite pitching with prowess, he’s not ready to play elite fielding in the outfield both glove and arm, and he’s not built for being an everyday outfielder on a 162 game schedule. He’s a far cry from Dylan Crews and we all see how that’s playing out. If the league wants to give him the big signing bonus it’s a fair argument he should take it, but he won’t be in the show for another four years if ever regardless
