I know a lot of people, including me, that thought that this may get messy.

This exit allows O to show how much he truly loves LSU and Louisiana.

Allows him fo be see in a positive light immediately after leaving LSU.

This is my take
He was not fired
He did not resign
He was reassigned with a new employment agreement

It will definitely be a plus for him in terms of how he is remembered long-term.

I can definitely see some people framing it as him “stepping aside for the good of the program”. Obviously inaccurate, but people will definitely frame it that way.

Yes, his primary motivation was love.
And after chasing a bunch of love, he was offered 17 mill to stop working…

Not to mention, keeps him from bashing Program.

Finish it out the right way & things will be better for everyone involved.

if he really loved LSU he wouldn't have allowed its beloved CFB program to become a shell of itself. He would've put his job ahead of desperate housewives.

he loves it so much he hired coordinators with no experience and has made LSU completely irrelevant and a laughing stock nation wide. Those whores kids he had practice shows a real passion for LSU

That's what this is. O gets generational wealth and he gets to be a beloved figure that will absolutely be remembered for a very long time in Tiger lore. The 2019 season doesn't happen without him and like it or not he deserves a lot of credit for that. Things went off the rails real quick and he is leaving before the program becomes beyond repair.

That first sentence of the agreement says a little different. "Terminated without cause"

Fixed it.

If O loved Louisiana so much, he would have pulled his head out of his arse a long time ago.

Exactly. Woody fired him without cause, gave him his full buyout, dictated he must appear in LSU attire to meet recruits once a year? Come the frick on. WHEN, in college or pro or shite even high school, have you seen a person get fired and yet, not fired like this? He will still be heavily involved in recruiting. And will wreck shop.

Hes fired but he’s going to stay and finish the season and keep recruiting for us. Thats a lot of pride to swallow but damn how cool would it be if he rattled off a few. Say best Ole Miss without corral or maybe beats Arkansas at home and damn how cool would it be if he beat A&M at home to finish his career.

I hope it ends on a positive note. It’s time to move on but I see no reason to pile on, on the way out the door. You know he’s gone. Focus on your next canididstes if you can’t stand him.

I’m glad we’re parting ways but it was fun if anything. Supernova that burned quickly,

The "Girlfrieds kids at Practice" crap has been debunked. Several players and former players who attend most paractices said that it is BS. Even Finebaum questioned the guy that wrote the article on his show and he backtracked. It was stated that this is being leaked by LSU to further discredit Coach O. I hope Coach O's lawyers are paying attention to this crap and he sue the hell out of them.
