LSU might be undefeated right now if Myles had started from day 1
Dude, our defense has sucked the whole season up until the Bama game. We played a good 1st half against State and Auburn and made some great interceptions against UF, but Bama is the only SEC game where our D looked like a real D for a whole game.

We’ll, he does have another game to play before he would burn his redshirt. Looks like they’ll be splitting reps half and half in the Arkansas game from what I read on si.com

I absolutely beleive the father called. I would call and be fricking livid. You don’t use my name in your lies to cover your arse. frick that
I agree. After watching O for five years, I’m going to make the natural assumption that he completely fricked this up and then lied to avoid criticism. If that’s what occurred, then Doug Nussmeier was absolutely justified in calling O and/or Peetz (assuming this all happened).
While I’m not for parents having a say in how their kids playing time is handled, Nussmeier is a very experienced coach and I’m sure he can see the clown show that has developed in Baton Rouge. If O is running things like this, then I wouldn’t blame him for trying to put a foot in someone’s arse over it. His kid gets 4 years and O has basically lit this one on fire.

Why did I read this. Now I’m pissed off again because I know we would have won that game.

So why the frick did he not play? Game probably goes the other way if he plays instead of hapless Max.

That's pretty much the worst case scenario if we want to win. Now both QBs won't be able to get into a rythm

Somebody remind me. How many interceptions were thrown by Nuss in the spring game? Why would anyone think that he is SEC ready now?

If this was all about Nuss and family giving the greenlight that all were OK with now burning his redshirt
That's exactly what this was.

that message was extremely poorly delivered by Orgeron. Which isn't surprising.
That's exactly correct.

Is it weird that I believe and understand all of it. It makes sense on both sides. Nussmeier and his family recently spoke with Coach O about saving his redshirt. They probably wanted him to get a lot of reps in a game like ULM instead of what everyone thought was going to be a blowout against Bama. Orgeron agreed to that and that’s why he didn’t put him in against Bama. Garrett and family probably realized we could have won that game if he plays. They also probably realize that everyone can see Max isn’t that great and Nuss has a chance to get significant playing time these last 3 games. They call O and say they don’t care about the RS anymore.

I like a guy who wants to play but getting Daddy to make a call? Jesus.
Yet another example of the character issues in this program.

No matter what happened, don’t tell the fricking media that his dad called so now he’s playing. What the literal frick I can’t even comprehend how stupid this is.
This is beginning to reek of O trying to sabotage the program on his way out the door.

EVERYONE watching the game on Saturday knew if LSU could get just one spark at the QB spot in the second half they could have won the game. The rest of the team, who were playing their asses off, deserved to see the coaches at least give them HOPE something could change. Instead, LSU just died a slow, agonizing death, waiting on a QB to make a big play he just wasn't going to be able to make.
It almost seemed like 1/9/12 all over again.

Where is Chadboy.
I said all along ask Nuss and his family if they wanted him to play and beat Bama.
OFC they did.
O is a mfing idiot.
