He started the year a first round draft pick on the heisman watch list and had 4 million dollars in the bank.

From that to this is a helluva fall. Hope he invested that cash and didn’t blow that too.

“We are witnessing an NFL quarterback come back to play one more year of college football.”

- once said about Nuss during the Clemson game

On a 360 degree axis, he could have chosen any of about 345 degrees to roll into and be safe. He chose the only slither of failing direction. Unbelievable.

My 7yo grandson said the same thing.

He had several oppritunities to step up and buy time.

I think it’s very clear he doesn’t accept coaching. Never has. He’s a guy who has always thought he was much better, individually, than he is.

Classic born on Third yet thinks he hit a triple

It’s the worst OL I’ve seen in my 36 years in watching football period.

On that play he had a clean pocket to step into. I saw that when it happened and Mcelroy pointed it out later.

I was expecting late first half when he threw the ball away instead of taking the sack.

That play was THE backbreaker for LSU.

His dad is a quarterback coach in the NFL. The dad never was in the backyard throwing rep after rep with him? The dad never after a game gives him some advice?

Many years ago, I committed to Mrs. Telecaster that I would abstain from dropping F-bombs while she was nearby.

Nuss made me break that promise last night on that very play.

The OLine is coached to block rushers to the outside to form a pocket. QB steps up and buys time. Watch that play and imagine if Nuss had followed standard protocols.

It is truly amazing how amateur Nuss is with his background. Growing up in football, Dad is a coach, etc. To me it just proves he’s lazy and has taken for granted that exposure and used it to coast by. Sad for him.

This was probably worse than Bama rushing only 3 and still getting a sack

There hasn't been a pocket in order to gain awareness.

This play will live in infamy for a long time.

This is Nussmeier’s legacy summarized in one play.

Why do that weird double roll thing. Just run towards the sideline. Maybe find someone open.

The o line on that play did fine. The left tackle pushed the guy way up field. Extremely simple for the QB to simply step up

This. Nuss has zero pocket awareness. He should have stepped up and moved to his right.

This. Even McElroy set up the replay complete with a big red arrow to show you all, once again, just how inept Nuss is at stepping up in the pocket. He's a pussy and I hope I never have to watch him take another snap.
