They're killing it in recruiting. They currently have the #1 class for 2023 and 2024.

It's pretty clear that their recruiting has skyrocketed since Freeman took over.

I think this is pretty normal with fanbases. Unless you reach the top you don't know how good you really have it.

probably laughing at us since they're destroying us in recruiting at the moment.

They have lots of guys committed. A lot can change. Average rank is pretty much even. I wouldn't call that "destroying us"

If they don't win it won't be because of lack of money backing that's for sure. ND dumping in NIL.

They're glad we took the winningest football coach in their program's history? Yeah, okay.

They're delusional.

Lets be real... Notre Dame was stagnant and could never get over the hump while Kelly was there. I think they are genuinely happy to get a fresh start.

I have a buddy who is going to grad school at ND. He thanked me for LSU taking Brian Kelly and told me to come visit if I ever wanted to see big boy football. I just laughed.

Notre dame hadn't won consistently since lou hotltz before kelly. They are spoiled because he was there for so long. They'll soon see what they had

This is true but he also took them to their peak. Maybe The new guy can do better. Maybe not. But to say they are grateful is pretty delusional on their part.

If you are not seeing what Kelly has done so far as extremely positive you are looking in the wrong places. This roster was shite 6 months ago. That bowl game was downright embarrassing. I think we compete in every game next year. Maybe recruiting is not his strong point. But he definitely closes. Let’s face it, 2 shitty seasons set us back recruiting wise. If he signs a top 10 class that would be an A+

So stupid to post this. Every fan in the world says the same BS when a coach leaves. You do know he's the winningest coach in ND history?

Like Les Miles at LSU?

Let's see ...

BK gets better facilities, lower admissions and access to better athletes as the result with his goal being to win football games ... that checks out.
ND gets the same of everything they already had and an unproven coordinator level coach but think somehow they won the debate ... checks out as well.

ND history >>> LSU history
That's just a dumb take.

Stagnant, yes. But also at the pinnacle of where there program has been for a very long time. Kelly made their program relevant again by creating a consistent winner. There's absolutely no guarantee his replacement will keep them there much less bring them a championship. Hes never even been a collegiat head coach before.

Y’all are idiots if you think ND is going to keep the #1 class. It’s June
