No way to have a “normal” football season this year

This outbreak is going to last well into the summer and fall. The “flattening of the curve” helps to keep our healthcare systems from being overwhelmed but it prolongs the time that people will continue to get the virus. Without a cure or vaccine, not sure how anything is ready to go by August.

Football should be priority, not preservation of human life.

Football season will be fine. Hopefully Longhorns still won't travel and keep ticket prices down for the UT asskickin' in Tiger Stadium in September

Well crying like a little a bitch in March isn’t going to help.

LSU fans will practice social distancing by continuing to leave at halftime.

I think we should just shut down society for the foreseeable future. In fact, I think we should just discontinue college football altogether. Unfortunately there will always be scary diseases that put humans as risk and cramming 100k people is just a recipe for disaster.
I don't like it, but it's the only way we can adequately eliminate all risk from life

So the vaccine will never be ready in time? Got it.

You might be right and if it is we will just have to deal with it. I am a 25 year season ticket holder, I love LSU and college football as much as anyone but sometimes there are things bigger than sports. We are a long ways from the season so lets just let it play out and take it one day at a time.

I have no idea how long our culture will be interrupted. And neither does anyone else. I just know we are in a shelter in place order through Easter. Who knows after April 12.

So, now we know Texas’ excuse for this season: “Maaaaan, y’all know we had that China AIDs...”

Feel better now? Running out of areas to post the your same BS?
