Since Anderson isn't in the portal, it is a recruiting violation. Probably nothing worthy of the NCAA even thinking twice about, but still a violation. Once Anderson is in the portal, fair game.

It’s just two people with a relationship talking. For all we know they had a good, honest relationship. Maybe he liked the coaches and just wanted to be at LSU for other reasons. That seemed like a normal postgame interractikn that just happened to get caught on mic
