Nobody thinks poorly of Nick, especially not LSU fans who know about him. We know he’s a high character young man and I don’t think that will ever be in question. Sometimes these things happen, that’s life. Nick will land on his feet and do well because that’s what happens to good people like Nick. To take a shot at BK making your comment is poor taste. This likely had less to do with Nick and his performance and more about the quickly changing landscape of CFB. It is what it is.

Austin Thomas is already overwhelmed and very mediocre!

You're going to have to give more than that if you want anyone to believe you.

I agree and wish him the best. Hoping he doesn’t move to one of our competitors but get it if that’s where his chance is.

Unless he becomes a successful head coach at a major university for several decades, doubtful

That’s the smart way to fire people

What do coaches do when they feel the pressure —-close ranks. Two guys loyal to LSU and not to the coach get let go. BK better hope his portal play and staff moves pay off , bc he ain’t making a lot of friends with alumni.

Will say, if BK wasn't there, that's kinda cheap.

He met with an HR rep and his department head. Do you expect CEOs to be at every hiring and firing? AFCAs were going on this week and probably going to be in Atlanta this weekend for the championship.

BK is the one that hired him he should’ve at least been the one to tell him or reach out in some fashion. But I am a Tiger Fan and I hope BK goes undefeated next year just doesn’t feel right at this moment how he handled it but that’s life.

If what you're saying is true, that doesn't even give me an inclination that it was BK that fired him.

Does this have anything to do with the resignation of Beth Rex, Associate AD/Chief of Staff, in October?

Kelly said they would evaluate things and we could expect staff changes after the end of the season.

Ruffino’s shtick wears thin pretty quickly. He’s prone to exaggeration and he’s a bit sophomoric with his constant “roody poo” “cheek clapping” “pause” etc. it’s like giving a smug 7th grader that knows football a microphone.

Is William Tate in every meeting when an employee gets let go or laid off in say, Facility Services or the Tiger Card office?

Yall may not like it but you probably need alot more legal staff that includes a CPA and a lawyer than recruiting staff in today's world of college football.

Very well said.

I would hire people who have worked on election campaigns of public elected officials. There is a need for continuous fund raising, investing and money management.
