Tenn has two front line starters who have proven stuff to dominate sec hitters. It’s not that big of a shock.

Vols will be hard to beat when those guys (starters) pitch well.

Tanner Hall is on the list too. What happened to all that chatter during the tournament last year of him transferring to LSU?

Three. Dollander, Burns, and Beam

Dollander was the only one that really dominated the SEC. Beam and Burns are pretty close. Similar ERA but Burns obviously much better K rate. Beam had the slightly better oppBA though. I was thinking of Burns.

You could have stopped there.

It’s their opinion that UT had a better pitching staff than LSU. Top to bottom out team is better and that’s what matters the most there’s a reason we’re #1 in the 4 major polls and UT isn’t

While Tenn has three really good pitchers, LSU has a really good weekend rotation. I do think LSU’s relievers are much better than Tennessee. LSU will also punish you at the plate if you make mistakes. The batting order is lethal.

Tennessee and LSU are close to a wash on weekend rotation. The difference is that theirs is more proven than ours.

Both teams lost most of their primary relievers. Both bullpens are unknowns. The only reason to think ours is better at this point is because you know their names.

That's no different than Tennessee.

I know everyone is making a huge deal out of unanimous number 1. But there really isn't any difference between LSU and Tennessee. Anyone who thinks either team is markedly better than the other is a moron.

You can expect us to have some top pitchers by the time this year is over. Floyd, Taylor, Hurd, and Skenes are going to have really good seasons. shite Little might have a dominant role out of the bullpen as a Closer or mid-reliever.
