I go back and forth with both agreeing and disagreeing with Moscona, but I'll say this: He's the only locked on host I've seen who doesn't melt about everything. Even when I'm in disagreement with something he's saying at a given time, the guy keeps it professional on there. He lets himself go on his personal channel in post game stuff, but he doesn't whine like a scorned teenager.
I'm blown away at how consistently emotionally unstable these Locked On people are outside of Matt.

Correct. He is the best LockedOn guy I've seen, but I still wish he wouldn't trash his own live chat when he disagrees with their opinions or questions.

They're just butthurt. I get it, but their arguments for how this was different than any other coach leaving a program was stupid and disingenuous.

Yeah, I've had personal run ins with him in chat in the past. And I was proven right both times that he came at me for an opinion. He definitely isn't the best at being gracious with disagreement at all times, but I'm enough of a grown up to get over the past. These other Locked On guys aren't gracious about anything.

Not sure what point you're making. He didn't call them a crap program. He called them a stepping stone school. Which historically they have been, despite everything you listed.
This is technically the third time we've hired a coach away from them. Norm Sloan was a better coach than Valvano, and he eventually bolted to go back to Florida. Even Herb Sendek left for ASU after several tournament appearances.

Plus, LSU is more likely going to be paired with one of the ACC teams that finished at or near the bottom, think Pitt, Notre Dame, BC (not likely) or Georgia Tech. NC State will get somebody from the middle of the SEC, like Texas A&M, Georgia, Missouri or Texas.

It's a made for TV event, which means ESPN tries to set the matchups based upon the projections of each team...not where they finished the year before. That's why NC State, despite having a losing record last season and finishing 16th in the ACC was paired with Auburn, who was picked to finish 6th in the SEC.
It's also why LSU was paired with BC and played its game on the Home Shopping Network. ESPN projected both teams to be shite.
