That 4th Down on the 1 yard line against Florida in 2016 when Derrius Guice didn't know the play and supremely fricked it up.
They even called a time-out and couldn't execute.
Why didn't Jamapuke Bamafuke (Fired after the season) make sure during the time-out that Guice knew the call and his responsibilities.
Of course, it never should've come to that. FIRST AND GOAL AT THE ONE. Just give it to Guice and let him run to the pilon. 100% he gets it in on one of the 4 attempts.

Embarrassing by Brian Kelly. Can’t remember the game but we received the kick off. 1st play. Nuss up to the line of scrimmage. Looks left and right about 10 times and calls a TO. So bad.

Incredible stupidity and improper execution -- simply enough to sicken even the least squeamish

winning the toss and electing to kick
Is that REALLY what happened?
I seem to remember that Aggy won the toss, deferred, and LSU chose to KICK, and play defense rather than receive.

The kicks by LSU to start each half occurred in the season opener in 1994 against A$M.
We had the #1 HS recruit, now Freshman kicker in the country, Wade Richey who could boom it. Curley told the captains that we wanted to kick to start the game. I always heard the story that we won and elected to kick, rather than defer our selection to the second half. So, of course when A$M has the option after halftime, they elected to receive. However, according to LSUsports.net, they won the toss, deferred and we elected to kick. Either way, just poor coaching preparation.
We did get a touchback on the opening kick. Leeland McElroy returned the second half kick to the 49.

Probably 8 that come to mind and 5 or 6 are at least under Les Miles.
But X Man under Saban probably takes #1 overall.

A classic! And that was the Saban Era

I’m pretty sure it was Brady James that made the call and Saban was the coach.
I don't know why this got downvoted but that did happen during Saban's tenure. It was against Miss St at home, LSU won, so it didn't matter. I was at the game. Not sure if James was the one who called it but that sounds right.

Had to kick to start both halfs
Everybody remembers LSU vs A&M in 1994. But a similar scenario played out in 2002 under Saban, in a 31-13 win over Miss State. We kicked off both halfs in that game too!

2012 Alabama
Needed 10 yards to win the game. Ran it 3 times, missed FG, and the rest is history.

The shite show at the end of the Tennessee game in 2010.
Only for them to frick up even worse by having to many men on the field.
Biggest clusterfrick I ever seen by both teams.

There was nearly a minute left and lsu, needing a field goal, was on the old miss 40ish yard line, and, somehow, they ran out of time. Pretty unbelievable.
LSU got to the OM 32. Then Jefferson dawdled around in the pocket and took an awful sack to take LSU out of FG range with less than 30 seconds to go. Les had to burn TO #2 there. The next play call was horrible. A little flair pass to Ridley that resulted in another 7 yard loss and forced TO #3 with 9 seconds left.
The plan at that point wasn't to throw the ball short of the endzone. Jefferson just did because he got pressure. I'm not excusing Les because the FG team should have been ready for a fire drill just in case, but LSU never expected the ball to be caught short of the endzone with time still left on the clock. Once it happened, chaos ensued.
Everyone remembers the ending. But it was the two plays before that which were the bigger disasters.

At Ole Miss goal line with Jordan Jeff and Elmer Fudd miles
My tv remote got stuck in drywall that day. The way the camera panned around to clueless Jordan Jefferson and Les Miles as time expired is forever etched into my memory.

I mean the obvious answer here has to be the 2010 LSU vs Tennessee game. Just flat out embarrassing for both teams
This. That was the most poorly managed football game by both teams that I have ever watched. My favorite line in a write-up about it the next day said, "And then Derek Dooley did the worst possible thing he could do during the Les Miles and LSU created nonsense. He reacted to it."

From LSUsports.net: Mississippi State won the toss and deferred to LSU. However Tigers team captain Bradie James elected to kickoff rather than receive, costing the Tigers a possession to start the half. The last time the Tigers were a victim of this miscue was in the Curly Hallman era, and, ironically, Hallman was on the sidelines as the defensive backs coach on Saturday

All these plays mentioned are for sure the worst we’ve seen so I’m gonna go with an entire side of the ball: 2016 vs Wisconsin @ Lambeau
An entire off-season of hype, with Les knowing his job is on the line, swearing up & down that things will be different this time, we changed the entire offensive system, yada yada
And literally the 1st offensive snap: Toss fricking Dive. I knew after that play we were going to lose
The icing on the cake was our cheapshot after the Harris interception to end the game.
