Moscona does a good job of “checking” John Canzano’s tweet about Jayden Daniels on AFR

Which is proof as to how there are heisman voters that shouldn’t be voting because they’re completely bias to their region/conference.

Canzano states, “Stop with the JD5 hype. He would hold a clip board at Oregon and Washington”

I think Moscona does a great job of uncovering this tweet that went viral.

Agreed. This is true for many voters imo. LSU/SEC people included.

Chuck Oliver went off on Canzano too, basically saying the same thing Scone said.

For someone that’s a respected media member who has a Heisman vote he really makes himself look like a fool, and should lose a lot of credibility

He's been hammered by a lot of other media for his tweet. Definitely has lost any credibility.

Sounds like SEC envy to me.

Despite being highly ranked, everyone knows that neither Washington nor Oregon is winning the NC. Per usual, the PAC 12 is an afterthought.

Can't hold a clipboard at Oregon or Washington is campaigning?

When the Oregon QB was an AU QB that couldn't even guarantee he would start there?

Here is his Heisman ballot from 2019

Penei Sewell as his 3rd choice, because he played at Oregon or did he think he was more deserving than the following?.

Justin Fields Ohio State SO QB

Chase Young Ohio State JR DE

Jonathan Taylor Wisconsin JR RB

J.K. Dobbins Ohio State JR RB

Trevor Lawrence Clemson SO QB

Chuba Hubbard Oklahoma State SO RB

Travis Etienne Clemson JR RB

Tua Tagovailoa Alabama JR QB

Moscona lives for shite like this.
Personally, I think stuff like this is low hanging fruit. A guy gives a dumb hot take for attention and everyone runs and hands it to him. Best just to ignore shite like this. However Moscona has three hour daily show with no co-host so he has to take what he can.

Dear god

Had an LSU beat writer posted something similar about nix, this board would be all about it.

The guy said what he said to campaign for his guys and get clicks and notoriety and you all played right into his hands.

The frustrating part is I can see a lot of the Nix voters putting Nix 1st, and leaving JD off to help their cause. But I am seeing a lot of respect for the JD fans towards what Nix is doing and will most likely have Nix 2nd or 3rd

The difference is if an LSU guy said that it would actually be factual.

You can promote your personal favorite without disparaging other guys. It might take a little more work, but if you're "a journalist" by trade, it's expected of you.

Everyone here on the Rant are just fans, so shitting on Penix and Nix is understandable. But if it were your JOB, then you have to acknowledge their stats, and whatever big-moment plays they made to keep things going.

That's where his comments cross the line.

Daniels might well be behind Penix at Washington, because Penix was already there. But he and Nix transferred the same year, and I can pretty much guarantee Daniels would have beat him out at Oregon- it's more of their offensive style. He's just a more gifted athlete.
