what does that mean? I'm sure brandon harris would love to "take the job"
I know he would like to take the job too but Les Miles be like...

Not sure about that. But it was a mistake... He should have used better judgement by starting him AT HOME against UK.......
I think it was the right call. The kid had played well in a a tight spot against Miss St, and honestly i don't think anyone thought out defense would pay that barely against Auburn.

Exactly my point.
I'm simply not a proponent of giving him the job and letting him figure it out.
But you don't have a problem with Jennings being given the job? Jennings in his third year and he is still figuring it out.

I don't doubt he's working hard but it isn't enough, whatever he's doing.
This doesn't even make sense. what the hell is Jennings doing or have done for him to earn the job. I can give a frog's fat arse how much he practices watch film or whatever he does, it does not translate on the field.

At some point his actions have to match his words.
At some point Jennings actions in practice needs to match his game performance.

We should expect more from Harris.
We should expect even more from Jennings.

Kid has to make a choice and start sacrificing. Whatever he's doing now, it's not enough.
This can be said about Jennings. So what he practices day in day out. If he is practicing bad technique then he is not getting better. He is just getting better at using his bad technique.

Can you imagine what people would have said had Miles started Jennings against Auburn after MSST and NMST?
And now, Miles sabotaged Harris
Can't script this stuff.

only takeway on Harris was he still needs some work on the short to intermediate stuff, like I said earlier overall tough to take away much from the day because of the poor view.

It would not have mattered... Bert Jones could have started against AU they would have still lost,,,, The AU game was a loss before they ever took the field.. AU had that game circled on their calender from the start of the season.. Revenge games are very hard to win...

Throughout your entire rant, you failed to illustrate one reason why Harris deserves the job. You just bashed Jennings. You don't see a problem with that?
When it all comes down to it, we're all coming to conclusions based on incomplete information. Some choose to come to logical conclusions and others go to extraordinary lengths to attempt to make their conclusions bend to reality.
My conclusion is that Jennings has earned the job because he works harder that Harris. He practices better than Harris more consistently. That's why he has the trust of the coaching staff. Harris is obviously more talented but the coaching staff is leery of giving the job to someone that can't do what they want him to do in practice.
I don't know a coach in the world that's going to play the player that looks worse in practice. But it appears that's exactly what people want to happen.

... they came into the game having lost 7 of the last 9.

I don't think that's fair to say. A better understanding of the game/offense due to more experience does not mean he's outworking Harris. Jennings was the safe choice, they knew what they were going to get out him going into the week.

i still go back to the auburn game man, put jennings on the bench, start harris, hamstring him from the get-go with some awful playcalls (especially in situational football, and tbf they do the same to AJ) then we almost never see harris again
after that AJ shitshow against NM State, they should have either stuck with him or just said 'frick it' and gone with harris with the future in mind.
i dont know, i dont think anyone including the coaches know what the frick to make of this position

Even with the playcalls there were still things he did in that game that you just can't excuse.
Bailed in the pocket when there was no pressure
Throwing passes as if the WRs are 7-footers
Calling the wrong plays

disagree with what you consider to be a logical conclusion
Ah, but saying that Miles hates Harris or is sabatoging him, that's a much more acceptable answer on the rant.
You can disagree with my opinion all you want but it's entirely logical. The QB that practices better wins the job.

How about Miles just likes AJ more. He doesnt have to hate anyone....

The rant is a lose / lose I'm afraid.

Fair enough, but post Bama there's no excuse for not having some form of a BH package built into games. Even on a limited number of plays he still gives you a better chance to put some points on the board or move the offense at all.
sticking him in the Arkansas game could have hurt what exactly?
