My weight doesn't have anything to do with my ability to dunk a basketball dumbass. Nor does how hard AJ tries going to magically make him into a decent QB, if it did, he wouldn't have sucked as bad at the end of the season as he did throughout, given how Les raved about his time spent in the film room and practice

Youve clearly never been in a position of power. You dont just hand over the keys to someone that doesnt work for it.
This last season was a perfect example of a qb having a higher floor and being the first in and last out. While Jennings may never throw a 20 yard our route. He will always know which way to turn for a hand off and which audible was just signaled in.
While i think Miles should've gotten Harris more experience last season, even Harris said he was hampered by injury and from his own mouth said he didnt put in the time needed to be a starter.

I'm sure you are quite the superstar athlete yourself. Don't worry about my abilities, everything I have works just fine at the weight I'm at.

And I seem to remember another LSU QB that wasn't known for his stellar practice habits or time in the weight room. He sure managed to light up a bunch of SEC defenses and one overmatched Big 10 team in the Sugar Bowl.

Rohan Davey had a good work ethic, and he was a MUCH better QB than Mauck at the time.

Why lie?

That's not what he said.

Jennings threw 12 passes. As in the ball left his hand for an intended receiver 12 times. For you to claim otherwise is laughable.

12 out of 21 called plays were passes. That's roughly 20% higher than the season average.

What's more, we fell inti an early hole because Harris couldn't execute despite the running game consistently putting him ahead of the down and distance.

We threw the ball more because we were down 17 before the 1st Qtr ended, not because Miles was sabotaging Harris, not because the playcalling was odd, or any other retarded theory you can muster.

he did a bad job in his first start on the road but led them to a touchdown. what did jennings do the rest of the game when harris got injured?

surely he put up some points right? surely he marched the team right down the field?

the defense was LOST in that game and the only way LSU was going to keep up was to have an air it out passing attack and they clearly didn't. LSU threw the ball a total of 24 times (according to the official stats, that's how this works) i don't care if jennings threw the ball 20 times himself and got 10 penalties from it. he officially attempted 10 passes. together the QB's were 8-24. 3 completions by harris, 5 by jennings.

the defense gave up 298 rushing, and 268 passing. that's the statistic that matters. chavis didn't have the defense ready to play. period. it was going to be a shoot out that day and the offense wasn't prepared to play either.

0-13 on third down. they never converted a single 3rddown that day and auburn converted 6-12 for 50%.

LSU wasn't built in 2014 for getting into an offensive shootout, and the auburn game showed.

That's the predominating argument in support of Harris, "well, what did Jennings do?"

All I want is for Harris to win the job on his own merits, not because Jennings didn't do any better. Jennings probably can't do a whole lot better. Harris can, and we need to see it.
