The non-reaction from LSU is not seen as good sportmanship or classy, it is seen as fear from SEC retribution. We are seen as weak and compliant, we are following the "rules" when the world around us looks like a Turkish bazaar.

Ask any good basketball coach, sometimes you have to take a "T" for the team. I will be surprised if the team does not follow suit and fold its wings, look for losses to Ole Miss & Arkansas.

What a couple of pussies.

What if Les gave them hell during the private meeting between him and the SEC offices? I'm sure Les would let his players know. So why would he do it again in front of the media? There's no point.

what would complaining about it have done?

It was clearly an INT. There is no changing that now. You are not going to get a fair shake in Tuscaloosa. Never have, never will.
The only thing Miles can do is put together a team that doesn't allow the officials to affect the outcome. We self destructed several times in that game. The injuries hurt us badly as well. Can't blame that on Miles or Alleva.

You think Bama wins without McElroy and Ingram playing the second half?

I really doubt they give a shite what you think. I am sure our program would be in much better hands if you were in charge.

How about you become an AD or HC and then you can throw your $30K in the shitter.

Also, do you know what was said behind closed doors? If not, shut the F up. Throwing a public shite fit does not really change or prove anything. That is what two year old children do when their mommy will not buy them the candy.

The world seems to have lost its respect for the strong, silent type and now looks to the emotional man who might have been called a crybaby years ago. Where have you gone, Gary Cooper?

This.

There are protocols in place to voice their concerns without grandstanding and putting themselves and/or the university in harm's way. And has their refusal to talk about it in the media diminished the amount of media attention the issue got? NO.--Best of both worlds. They handled it in the best possible way.

It does not matter what was said behind closed door, it is the public perception that matters, perceptionion is reality. In the world of college football we are now seen as weak and compliant.

This was not a good move by LSU on any level, you can complain about Kiffin and Meyer all you want, but it energizes the fan base and players. That was the best $30k Meyer ever spent. It draws attention and recruits.

As dumb as Mike Gundy looked last year in his rant, his players lover it, his fan base loved it, the recruits loved it.

Grow up and see the real world, it is not what your mamas told you.

Horrible analysis.
The sportswriters,opinion-makers and fans are doing more than Les ever could.
Les has ZERO to gain from whining. Nada. Zilch.

He has to get his team focused for the three game stretch. he doesn't want his team feeling the weakness of "the victim" he wants them feeling the hunger of the predator.

He also has the maturity to know that THE GAME IS OVER and that IT CAN NOT BE OVERTURNED; so why not take the high road and bet that his classiness wins him that call in the next big game.

This is exactly the kind of douchey comment that undermines recruiting, demoralizes the fan base and players, and earns us our reputation as silly little bitches.

complaining about it more than he did (indirectly by saying PP knew he caught it) would just make him look like a whiner and have the team's attention more on the game LSU just lost than the games remaining on their schedule.

I'd like LSU to finish strong instead of focusing on a lousy call in a game they just lost

I'm sure they will lose sleep over you lack of faith.

What you reactionaries don't understand is that Miles/Alleva just scored a handfull of 'get out of jail free cards' from the $EC. Miles/Alleva are smart enough to realise that the $EC league office is corrupt and that only more harm can come to LSU if we 'go it alone' and publicly call them to task. Nothing can or will change until the head coaches and AD's have a quorum of league presidents solidly behind them and motivated enough to legally challenge the league offices powers'. It would take something in the order of fan 'civil disobediance', ie., empty stadiums on one pre-ordained saturday...to get the attention of the money grubbing whores who are now driving the $EC.
