He’s a high-reward but also high-risk player.

There wasn’t really any reason for him to get caught between 1st and 2nd when the bases were loaded. Bad base-running likely cost us the championship since we ended up stranding all 3 guys.

Take a break cbree we are not even in this game without Monster. He made a mistake it's baseball and he is a freshman. His first base coach should be blamed also.

Yes it was bad, but there were 2 outs. There’s no guarantee that we would’ve scored.

I hope he learns from the experience.

You prob should have pointed out the rest of the lineup who hit like shite all day. Milam was our brightest spot this week. I hope he keeps it up in the games that matter most.

That was our best shot, at least until the bottom of the ninth. He had a brain fart.

Eh, it's very far from a guarantee that we score there. It was a mistake that he'll learn from. Better to happen now than in a regional, super, or Omaha. Calling Milan a "high risk player" is silly. He's a high baseball IQ guy who made a mistake.

Of all the freshmen to pick on, Milam is not one of them. How about Cam Johnson? A 6-5, 230 pound monster with a fastball that topped out at 98 mph as a high school senior. He was the #2 rated lefty, and the #11 overall player in the nation. He was supposed to do more than contribute this year. But he ended up being one of LSU baseball's biggest disappointments in the last 10 years or more.

Learning moment. Today essentially meant nothing.

Best part was next inn. KP goes "Wanaka sees everything over there"

"Well, not everything..." replied Burkie

You guys are all such sensitive little limp-wristed, pearl clutching pussies.

I’m not “picking on Milam”. Everything I said is a legitimate opinion that I will not take back. Milam has been great for us, but he really screwed the pooch in that specific situation. It’s not a personal attack on Milam. It’s just an opinion on how he handled that situation. Hopefully we will learn from it and be an even better player moving forward.

The dude who sits on his fricking couch, having accomplished nothing in life, trying to shite on a high performing college athlete for the one mistake he made. Get fricked you piece of shite!

High risk? He got caught napping. Sucks but I bet he will learn from it. There’s no risk with him.
