this mass exodus can’t happen every year
it can and likely will....
1) LSU will be a destination school for transfers looking to boost their stock.
2) Our underperforming guys will always be tampering targets from coaches that once recruited them, insisting they're being used wrong and guaranteed starting spots. Neal is a good example of this.
3-4 year guys will be more outliers than the norm
You can dislike the new model but its unlikely to be going anywhere anytime soon.

They don't owe their coaches and teammates, either.
Players don't owe their coaches an explanation on why they are leaving after the coach gave them every opportunity to succeed in school, baseball, and life ? Are you stupid?

This mentality is a leading example of everything that is wrong with present day college athletics.

I actually think Guidry likes his move to pitcher and expect him to work on getting a third pitch and further developing his fastball. No reason for him to transfer.

Yep this is the new world. We are a prime destination so up and comers from other places will want to be here.
Our guys that aren’t living up to the hype will hear chirps of come play here
I could see this year being the high water mark because it has some Paul guys that now have finally been processed

It just doesn't fit your narrative buddy. Just admit that

Did Tommy not bail on his first school looking for greener pastures? Sounds like it fits his narrative just right.

Neal was offered a lot of money to stay and decided to leave anyway.

Remind me to never take financial advice for the jack asses that “offered” Neal a lot of money. Talk about a terrible investment.

But he probably wanted even more than that.

That is just weak. MJ Seo entered the portal. Really wanted to see him pitch.
