163 sounds like a lot

It's not, though. It's one guy with one year as a 1st option and a 12 other guys that haven't done much of anything.

Dillon & Sullivan played a ton of snaps last year & the others are going into their 3rd year which is when most WRs become ready to play

WR will be fine.

Dillon had more rushes than receptions last year and Sullivan only played in 8 games. Every other WR has 11 catches for 271 yards and 2 TDs at LSU combined.

WR is a massive concern.

I know. I'm not saying they are going to be bad, I'm saying they are unknown (outside of Giles) and rightly so.

I’m more worried about the QB with only 3 months to prepare. We have WRs that have gotten reps in games & practice. As opposed to coming into last year when we had guys with no reps being asked to step up. JR year is when guys tend to step up, I can go down the list if you want.

And Giles got 7 for a reason. Burden is on him and I’m pretty sure he can handle it

the LSU defense is going bend theU over and have their way with them for 60 min.

the game will be over midway through the 3d quarter if we can score a few points, and not turn the ball over.

Burrow has 3 years of practice and coaching under urban and Herman

Im not worried about his physical talent. Im concerned about him being able to hit the ground running with our playbook and develop consistency with our WRs. There will be a learning curve. Actually wouldnt be surprised if he didn't start right out the gate.

Are we still sitting at 35% on the offense? That could help him out. Everyone is more or less in the same spot.

He’s still prob our best option. I know Russell Wilson went to Wisc at about the same time. He had had real game reps tho.
Miami is bearable but that’s a tough spot to throw him into. Hope he can pick it up fast

The hype for this guy blows my mind. Even national media thinks LSU is a contender now. What the hell has this dude done in college for anyone to say he's a guaranteed success here? The blind optimism is fanatical at this point with absolutely nothing to back it up. I could understand the hype if this dude was tearing it up at OSU then transferred. The guy couldn't even start there. Granted, they're usually stacked with QBs but the way he's hype you'd think Peyton Manning transferred in college.

He’s no different than taking a juco QB.

Not comparing the talents at all but what had Cam or Met done before they went the juco route?

So what happens when he leaves next year? Still in the same damn spot. Without a QB and no one to develop one.

The lack of literacy among our fans is shocking. An apple has a core. If our WR group has one it’s probably the top three guys. Our whole WR group is a corp. It’s pronounced the same, although our smartest president EVER didn’t know that nine years ago.

I just picture Charlie Kelly saying half this shite

LSU is right in the middle of installing a brand new scheme. It's not like he's catching up to guys with years in the same system.

It’s Miami - did you mean lighting up?
I would like to say they are in for a big surprise, but their coach knows a thing or two about the SEC.
This one rest with the D imo.
