You’re a fricking idiot. LSU is solidly in the tournament and likely a 6 seed or so.
Secondly, that poster is exactly correct. The program hasn’t been in better shape. I had season tickets from 78-92 ie the glory years and Brown’s team underperformed. He had talent out the arse. NOBODY have done what Wade has in the time he has done it in program history. None.

Miles/PM were both here 12 years, after the dumpster fire WW took over and in the next 3 years, won the SEC, and more SEC games than every Coach in the conference. Miles was left loaded with a talented football team CPM came into a powerhouse elite program and won 1 but fizzled out. WW has just got started , he’s recruiting on the highest level, these kids aren’t coming here because of our storied past. They are coming here because they believe he’ll be the best coach for them and I don’t won’t to go back 25 years and not give a damn about basketball. WW gives us a chance to get there and he’s just getting started.

When there was 8 people in the Old SoS basketball threads I always wondered why more people didn't support the basketball program....
Now I realize it's because some people are dumb as shite when it comes to College basketball lolol. We got guys saying sec championships don't matter because Wade won one.

It is far better to be a great recruiter and decent XOs guy than vice versa in college basketball.
He just needs to get assistants to help develop talent and design plays.
But wade isn't a bad X and os guy... He just has troubles with lineup management when his stars are hurt

I've followed almost as long as you but will have to disagree. I'll give him a few more years as he's earned it. A healthy team would have won 3 -4 more games this year and we wouldn't be having this conversation. Not saying there isn't room for improvement but anyone asking for a coaching change at this time doesn't know a lot about basketball. Watching basketball and understanding basketball are 2 completely different things.

What do the other 7 coaches do all day? I would assume they have some say so about the team’s offense. Any good manager or coach surrounds himself with good assistants/employees. Maybe that might be an issue

I don’t understand why we need a Head Coach who needs an “Xs & Os guy” to coach the team. That makes Will Wade nothing more than a recruiter. This thought process has never made any sense.
