Well, pertaining to Richardson, his qb rating was in the 20's mid season. In the link they recommend he not go early in the draft and is seriously innaccurate and merely have him there on physical abilities. I said Levis at 4, they have him at 3. Hooker is a head scratcher to me but everybody has their opinions.

Is Kiper smoking crack? NFL GMs are too smart for their own good trying to find the next Josh Allen. Forgetting that it has failed way more times than it has hit. Give me Bryce Young over Will Levis 10/10 times. Same with Anthony Richardson. While QBs lighting it up in college in Nix and Duggan don’t make the list. If Jayden really has a mid round grade, good for him but I just don’t see it.

Age does matter. The sweet spot appears to be QBs that are 21 when their college season ends.

Data supports this

Mel Kiper's opinion doesn't mean jack to an NFL GM.

I am shocked that Kiper or anyone would rate him that high. Jayden would need another year at LSU to make me believe he is anyway near being an NFL ready draft pick. I hope he doesn´t let money influence his decision.

Josh Allen is severely overrated

Jalen Hurts is a better QB at this moment

JD should probably take that deal while his stock is up. Our offense scheme sucked after Bama.

Hooker also tore his ACL. He won’t be able to test at the combine. Any team that drafts him won’t be able to use him until the end of the season.

That’d be great if he goes pro this year

I don't this matters at all for QBs. They can play into their mid-late 30s

you don't think an extra 5 years from your QB matters?

Good he should go pro.

No way in hell is he a better prospect than Duggan.

the odds of a QB playing for the same team for 15 years is very small, unless they're one of the tops in the league.

If any NFL team thinks they can get 10-12 years out of the same QB, that's WAY, WAY, WAY ahead of the curve. THey're not going to not draft a 25 year old because they'll lose a few years on the back end, 12 years down the road. THat's just silly.

This year is weak from a QB standpoint, so he would be wise to make the leap to the NFL.

This is great. We get another QB in the NFL and get to keep both Walker Howard and Nuss.

This is a perfect scenario both from a recruiting and 2023 execution perspective. The future is bright, my friends.

Daniels is an elite runner and an adequate passer. I think Lamar had a similar profile. I was skeptical of Lamar, but he has turned out great. I think Daniels has a good chance of making it in the NFL. I don't think he will be as good as Lamar, but he can be a good QB. He will have to become a better passer, but he was getting better throughout the season. I don't want to lose Nuss nor Walker, because I think they will both be better, but Daniels would give LSU more security of at least above average QB play. Nuss and Walker may have some more growing pains, so I'm a little torn that we might lose Daniels with this projection.
