Just double checked. 6'2 210lbs. He has great stats, tough as shite and very athletic for the position. I don't get it

Has Kipper's draft boards rankings ever been accurate?

No, but I think you know the answer already.

agreed, I don't see it with Levis. Yes, I know he has the body and is decently mobile, but 1st overall QB???

I'm just not seeing it. At all.

Daniels will be a disaster in the NFL. If he thought receivers were covered and he wasn't able to throw them open in college wait until he gets to the NFL and see hows well the receivers are covered.

I wouldn't read too much into yet but if JD does come back it could be something to monitor.

It's just a rumor so remember that but possibly looking around if Jayden came back. Because you would think though it would be an open competition he would be penciled in as the starter.
That makes zero sense. If JD returned then it is highly likely Nuss moves on first. That leaves Walker as the backup for at most one more year with the high potential to take over in the event of injury.

I disagree. He has all the physical tools and will benefit from NFL coaching.

Don't come back and risk getting hurt, go get paid and take care of your family while you can. Bird in the hand!

that makes a lot more sense to me.

Hard to fathom that walker and Jamie were hell bent on redshirting, only to jump shite the year after.

Torn acl, and will be 25 at the start of the nfl season next year
torn ACLs are a big thing anymore.

I'm not sure the age thing is an issue either for QBs. For RBs who've had a lot of carries through 3 or 4 years of college, then yes, their body has a limited life span.

But for a QB? Those guys can play into their mid-30s and beyond. I'd think having a mature 25 year old rookie is a net positive for an NFL team.

Who is Mel Kiper? Has he ever put on a jock strap?

Maybe that's why they were hellbent on red shirting. Gives WH time to transfer and adjust to new system.

Same with Nuss.

If that is accurate, then JD should definitely go, and i wish him nothing but the best of luck.

that being said, i hope this is accurate, and he does leave b/c i don't want him being the QB next year for LSU, or the Saints. Good kid, good player, but i simply do not want a QB that is incapable of being even an average pocket passer, and also completely incapable of throwing the ball downfield.

tRant understands QB potential much better than people like Mel Kiper, Brian Kelly, or NFL GMs.
