I would love to see what Wingo would be doing under Blake.

I really wonder what happened in between seasons. In 2022 I remember seeing video of House in the locker room and saying how this was his favorite group of guys he ever coached, players seemed attentive and engaged and all in all really seemed to respect House a lot. They would usually start off games sluggish but would lock folks down after halftime. You didn't hear a peep about any resentment between House and the players.
Then 2023 happened and all the players and other coaches hate his guts and they made no effort to hide it either. That kind of vitriol has to have more behind it than just playing bad, right? I wonder if we'll ever get the full story.

When Brandon Taylor, who played in the NFL, says repeatedly that he doesn’t know what they’re running or what they’re even trying to do you know the DC was lost.

If I had to guess, behind close doors he was probably chewing all the players out for poor play while not taking responsibility himself for poor coaching, poor game planning, or personnel decisions. Also wouldn’t be surprised if the players recommend changing certain schemes and trying to give their input but House would ignore them.
That would turn a locker room on a coach pretty quick.

House should’ve been dropped after the Ole Miss game.

I think Kelly waiting so long to fire House and rest of staff left the players feeling helpless. Everybody wanted him gone. I thought firing House immediately after A&M game would have sent a strong message to fans and players that he wanted to make a change and right the program. Wingo probably would have stayed instead of entering the draft.

I’m guessing when the defense was really bad, he doubled down on being an a-hole. Jamar Cain despises him and he was a coach on the 2022 team. It also seemed like we couldn’t attract any high end defensive assistants to work with him, which probably showed what the coaching world thought of him.

The fact that he ran off Jamar Cain likely did not help.

"Culture > play calling"
Help me out, how is this an obvious jab at House as opposed to CBK (who's mentioned in the tweet) or just a general opinion?

Wingo should've come back for one more season!

Because the tweet is about the new defensive coordinator? Didn't think this was too hard to interpret.

I mean just use your brain here

CBK is still here, it wouldn’t make any sense for him to call out how culture makes a difference more than play calling to a guy whose still with the program whose now having success

Seriously? The tweet is about Blake Baker's relationship with the players on defense and how it's help build trust between the coaches and players
Matt House is by all accounts a good Xs and Os guy but not the best relationships guy, hence Wingo saying culture > play calling. Wingo notoriously giving House the cold shoulder after the bowl game it's no secret he hates the guy.

Heck all three DTs that were drafted: Wingo, Jefferson and Smith.

Unless he's suggesting CBK finally saw the light and should've realized this while House was here but didn't?

Wingo is in the league
It’s time to let it go and the fans need to as well
He could have returned

Man. Wingo is waging a one-man war on Matt House and I think Tiger Nation is 100% behind him in this effort.
