Still some decent holes on the squad and question marks.

There is not ONE team in college football that don't have question marks. And that include back to back champion Ga. Bulldogs.

This is sports prognostication 101. Pick narratives that will shock and outrage some, while appeasing others. Then two months later switch it up.

It is not the opinions that get ratings; it’s the change in opinions. Fans usually lose track of the fact that these guys are not trying to be right; they are trying to get ratings.

What are Florida State's question marks?

Is Jordan Travis really a national title QB?
Do they have the horses on the DL outside of Verse?
Are their load of transfers all plug and play?
Is Mike Norvell an elite coach?

That was easy

Yea probably because he can do pretty much anything at his position. They don’t know where to put him because he’s gonna crack skulls regardless.

secondary (like us)
if i were to find a weakness offensively its their offensive line in the middle, they’re not bad but they’re small
and their returning kicker went 60% in attempts last year

Those aren't glaring. The same question about the QB could be said about Daniels. That's not glaring.

The same thing about their DL could be asked about ours, especially with Smith out. That's not glaring.

The same could be said about our transfers. That's not glaring.

I'll give you the coach because BK is elite. But I think Norvell has improved the team and there is cause for optimism. That's not glaring.

The only glaring weakness on either team is the LSU secondary, specifically CB. It's glaring. It's a big issue. And if we lose, it will likely be the reason why.

They know exactly how they are going to use him and it's in the middle. The question is will Perkins be able to have the same impact he did last year when he was rushing. He will of course make plays and make an impact it will just be different than last year.

You really need to crawl out from under that rock you’ve been living under. All those narratives and stories are 100% scripted. If everybody on talk shows, podcasts, etc. all have the same opinions then nobody would have jobs.

Daniels said it best, everyone doubts us, its us against the world and we need to have a 1-0 mentality.

Let’s just see after Sunday . A lot of uncertainty on that defense as a whole .

I think it’s pretty easy to see where we could have 3 losses and I wouldn’t even consider that a disappointment, just the lower end of expectations.

Well said - but may get you hammered for being so reasonable here…

I understand where [McElroy] went to school but that aside, he’s usually pretty fair.
sure he went to Bama, but allegiance to your alma mater takes a distant backseat to your career.

Besides, McElroy grew up in Texas. I'd guess he went to Bama to play for the best program. So although I'm sure he has affection for his alma mater, crimson wasn't in his blood from birth, and I doubt he'd let it overly influence his professional life.

secondary isn't very good,

This is a legitimate concern.

LSU doesn't know how to use Harold Perkins

I think they're just mad that LSU isn't penciling in Perkins in a spot on the field, so they can't diagnose how he'll do on one on one matchups. Reporter, in general, are lazy people and they need information fed to them.

Daniels is a up and down.

I would have to think that a full year and a half under the system will give us more of the good Jayden Daniels that torched a few teams last year, than the indecisive Daniels we also saw a few times.

"Three losses would be a good season."

With our completely untested secondary, i wouldn't be too disappointed with a 3 loss season, but i'd prefer us to be 10-2 going into the SEC championship game and finishing 11-3 or better.
