Let’s just get rid of men’s basketball. Put the money in other sports. It’s been a disaster for a while now.

Wow! Another team that just happened to get hot from 3 at the wrong time. Man LSU is just sooooo unlucky. No way they could have done anything to stop it.

Anyone else interested in helping McMahon clear out his office tonight?

People here don't allow this. You'll be accused of being a nega one day and a McMan the next.

Here are the stats. On the season coming into this game, South Carolina normally shoots 46.7% FG, 30.8% 3pt, 79.4% FT. In this game, they ended up shooting 47% FG, 57% 3pt, 76% FT. So, really, just the 3-point shots dropping was much better. And LSU had 14 TOs again. And they shot poorly.

And this was a Q3 loss so it will drop LSU in the NET quite a bit.

Starting to wonder if McMahon saw what we did with Kelly and got jealous. He's fine losing and getting a fat fully guaranteed buyout.

McMahon has dealt with some unlucky injuries throughout his time here but at some point it’s still his roster and you gotta make lemonade with the lemons you got. Good luck elsewhere

Also Robert miller seems to have regressed. I cringe every time he touches the ball, if he even catches it

Even without Thomas, there was no excuse to let this game get so far out of control. The team wasn't prepared and he took too long to make adjustments.

The Thomas injury came at the worst time, since the last 2 games would've probably been wins with Thomas, but CMM hasn't shown how to adjust to the available talent. Reece has potential, but he isn't ready. He constantly drives without a plan, so he rarely creates, and CMM hasn't addressed that.

What the last 2 games have shown is that we only have one elite player, and then a bunch of role players, because this team looks almost hapless on offense without Thomas. It also shows that we are the worst team in the SEC without Thomas, but I still think LSU is a middle of the pack team with Thomas. Too bad that Thomas didn't get injured much earlier in the season to help CMM figure out how to run the offense without him. But that's what he's paid to prepare for. CMM should have an idea about how to run the team without any one of his players, and that is an indictment of his coaching ability.

The next game at Vanderbilt will be a lopsided loss, so might as well rest Thomas for the home game against Kentucky on the 14th, which we can win with Thomas. Use the Vanderbilt game to develop other players. I'd like to see more of Moseley.

Both games against South Carolina are must-wins if we want a chance at 9-9 in conference. They're arguably the worst team in the SEC.
To be the worst, you gotta lose to the worst.

A 9-9 Conference record this season for LSU is as likely as a Final Four trip.

we don’t fricking defend. We turn it over because we don’t have an offensive flow.

Everyone shoots great against us isn’t a fluke. We don’t defend

If this talentless team should be able to do anything it is defend, we gave length and decent speed.

But nope we just get tired either way like a cats ball of yarn.

This is ridiculous. USC is terrible, and we let their best player play like 8 minutes with four goddamn fouls.

I wonder if MM even knew he had four.

I was against the idea of an interim coach but McMahon needs to be gone tomorrow. How much more do you need to see? This might be the worst loss in his dreadful time here.

Aside from the paid trolls on here, does he have any defenders left?

Every game a team goes ham on shooting first half, it's an outlier or anomaly. Nothing to do with out coaching.

It's just by the miracle of God. He hates LSU somehow.

At some point our fans need to realize that every team we play doesn’t just somehow get lucky and shoot way better from 3 when they play us.
