Next eight look very challenging-- two vs Alabama, @ Florida, @ Miss St, @ Tenn, Kentucky, @ S. Carolina... none of those games look winnable for this team.

The TO bug has come back to this team and their lack of rebounding and allowing 2/3 shots by their opponents are unacceptable, opponents offensive rebounding and 2nd chance points have beaten them last 2 games

It was a game between two coaches that belong at the mid-major level. White has never done anything of note as a major conference HC. That’s how pathetic Georgia’s basketball program is. They hired a guy Florida was desperate to get rid of. McMahon is just trying to set the school record for “moral victories”. In the eyes of some on here LSU is 6-0 in SEC play. 3 actual wins and 3 big moral victories

Lately this is true, but he brought a middle of the pack UF team to the Elite 8 in his 2nd season there. We’re not even gonna make the NIT.

At the time of the Will Wade controversy, several of us on this board were pointing out how hard it would be to find a coach that was better than the one you were debating getting rid of. It wasn’t necessarily that “Will Wade is the best coach in college basketball”, but more of a combination of factors including “who can you realistically hire that will do as well as Will Wade has?” Smart people knew LSU had no chance at hiring a bona fide elite coach. It was going to be a crap shoot with some coach looking to prove himself.
LSU could have easily withstood a one year postseason ban with the hope of future seasons with Will Wade. But instead Woodward tried to save the football program by firing Will Wade. Woody kept Verge Ausberry though didn’t he? Covering up sexual assault must be more acceptable than paying off a bitter ex girlfriend of a former player.

The story of this game was TO. Especially Unforced TO. And bad shots. I consider a bad shot a TO. 3 times we forced shot on 1 on 2 fast breaks when the shots were blocked. Dean did try to block out and the GA player did hit Dean in the head going for the ball. You can’t have 29 TO on the road and expect to win yet we had a chance. If ward plays I think we win this game.
