This mentality is why LSU and our state are going to shite! People are willing to accept garbage and berate others for not accepting garbage. Go to any other stadium in the country, and you can get a better experience than LSU right now.

So you walk around 4-5 hours before game without eating and then expect to purchase quality food by the LSU concessions, where they maybe 90,000 people?

Concessions at Tiger Stadium simply need to be compared to concessions at other stadiums.

It's bad.

For starters, the Tiger Dogs are no longer offered.

You mean the disgusting Manda "sausage" dog? That "hot dog" is gross, b/c Manda is disgusting. The only reason people like it is b/c of nostalgia and/or being drunk. A basic hot dog would be a massive upgrade over that greasy disgusting sausage.

It boggles my mind that they don't try to have local vendors to come into the stadium. Hell they'd probably pay you to do so just for the advertising. It was great having Burgersmith in there.

Gameday experience has gone to hell. General parking is always a mile away, even getting there early. Leaving the parking lot after a game take a full hour, then I drive home for 2 more. I'm relatively young, so I can take it for a bit longer. My dad doesn't go to games anymore, just because how big of a pain in the arse it is.

We're loyal season ticket holders for the past 25 years or so, but it's just becoming too much of a headache. I'm holding out until I can take my little girl to a couple, then may end up giving up tickets.

Ehh, they’ve run out of water with people dying of heat stroke, just seams they could be more prepared on a few fronts. And there is no excuse on fricking up popcorn and not having melted cheese. It’s doesn’t have to be amazing, but the little things go a long way.

At one point, our concessions in the NEZ were out of "meat" products. They got some later in the game when there were 10K people left. Also, two women at the beer stand were telling Tiger fans roll tide. Who hires these idiots?

All about money and contracts. I'm sure Papa Johns pays good money for another pizza place to not be in there. Money just controls too much.

LSU lost $83 million last year because of Covid. It is al about the money if we are going to improve the game day experience and get people to come to games unfortunately.

that's fine. So there's pizza. I'm fine with Burgersmith saying we are the only burger you can serve, or the jambalaya shop saying we are the only jambalaya you can serve, or chik fil a saying we are the only chicken sandwich you can serve, or izzo's serving the only quesadilla's or any one of the local meat shops serving the only boudin in the stadium.
Wouldn't it be nice to order 2 links of boudin and a beer? nah, i'll have a disgusting arse Tiger Dog and a gigantic cup of ice with about 8 ounces of soda.

Mass production of food is always a mistake. Always.

But at least the papa John’s pizza is edible and has a modicum of seasoning. What’s currently being served smells gross, looks gross, and I’m assuming tastes gross. Would it be nice to have 5* dining? Sure, but I’m not asking for that. I’m asking to let local restaurants have booths or concessions and serve that. Then, in addition, serve actually seasoned food. It’s not that complicated.

It's the employees. They hire low wage people who don't care. And it's not just the concession cashiers... everyone through management at Aramark are low-paid people who are just there to collect a check.

You are going to have lines. I went to a game at Minute Maid this summer on dollar hot dog night. The lines were long. But... the cold drinks were cold and the hot foot was hot.

I am a peanut, beer and water guy when in any stadium. Hard to mess that up. If you deviate from that at any ball park, you take the risk of a subpar experience.

Wrigley Field is an exception for sure.

The only things I'm open to eating at the games are the Frito Lay chips, Papa Johns and Chick Fil A because LSU has nothing to do in making them.

"Gone to" implies they once weren't sh*t. They always have been.
