For starters, the Tiger Dogs are no longer offered.
Got the kiddos nachos and popcorn. Nachos had about 12 chips and cold cheese and the popcorn was 3/4 filled.
Never complained about the concessions before even though it has always sucked, but it’s out of control. I didn’t even bother with the jambalaya that was $9.50 for a bowl that was barely filled up.

I filled out a survey today and dogged the shite concessions. Won’t change anything but I let them know that our concessions are freaking trash.

Y’all remember like 3-6 years ago when a lot of local restaurants like city pork, smash burger, rum house, Zatarans (not a restaurant I know.) had booths all around the stadium and they had chick fil a guys walking around the stadium?
It was a fat man’s dream and the food was actually really damn good and not THAT expensive.
What they had last night was embarrassing.

I did a survey too. Took an hour to get off campus from the Pleasant Hall lot and the only reason it didn’t take longer was I hooked an illegal u turn. Police sitting on their arse instead of directing traffic as the traffic lights allowed no one off campus.

I know I might be in the minority here and I completely understand the appeal of CFA, Burgersmith, etc. for some people but I can go to those restaurants if I want them.
When I go to a game I want a burger, hot dog, nachos, candy, etc. and I want it done quickly and done properly. I fricking despise Aramark for serving the shite food that they serve with such terrible service to boot. It’s awful and I will bitch in every single concession thread that pops up until we have a new vendor

You mean you missed after ever game, LSU fans bitching about concession? Our fans bitch more about concessions than officiating. Eat a nice meal 1 hour before game and let the little ones get a snack just prior to entering, and you just have to buy drinks.
If you or you kid can’t go 4-5 hours without eating, stay home.
Nobody is attending an event where there is 50,000 plus people and looking forward to the food they serving.

We live in the state with arguably the best food in the country. Is it too much to ask to have serviceable jambalaya and actually seasoned burgers?

Maybe you want to walk around campus for 4-5 hours before a game and not “eat a nice meal 1 hour before the game.”
Never heard that concept before. Also, you would think that LSU would like to make a few extra $$ by serving something decent.

So you walk around 4-5 hours before game without eating and then expect to purchase quality food by the LSU concessions, where they maybe 90,000 people?

I am a peanut, beer and water guy when in any stadium. Hard to mess that up. If you deviate from that at any ball park, you take the risk of a subpar experience.

I never asked for a steak… simply decent concessions. If my daughter wants nachos, perhaps provide a decent bowl of nachos for $5, not 12 chips.

Amazing. We have found the solution to shitty concessions, folks. “Just don’t eat them.”
Next up, he’ll tell us that the solution to traffic is “just don’t drive.”
ETA: The concessions were considerably better when the stands were run by Boy Scouts and local fundraising groups. I, for one, just want them to be as good as they once were. Doesn’t need to be gourmet.
