The only thing that makes sense is Brennan staying at LSU. Otherwise, Max would stay.

I’m guessing Max and Brad wanted to be guaranteed the starting QB position in 2022. Any new coach taking over an existing roster of someone else’s recruits ain’t making that promise. The Johnson’s got their feelings hurt and were afraid of competition so they left.
Funny thing is, if Max does transfer to A&M, he will never see the field with Haynes King (2021 commit), and Conner Weigman (2022 commit) Eli Holstein is a hard commit for 2023.

The fact that you are saying he "sucked" really shows your ignorance.
He is leaving and doing what is best for him, he wouldn't even be playing in the bowl game due to an injury. This is no different than any player before him.
