I agree Finley should 100% get in that portal ASAP. Between Myles/Max/Nuss and Walker coming in next year he will not sniff the field. Talented kid and appreciate his service but the writing is chiseled in bold CAPS. He helped us win 2 games (South Carolina and Arkansas) which will be remembered and appreciated but he can easily go somewhere else and really flourish more.

There's a fine line between confidence and bone-headedness. His confidence concerns me.

No one even bit on that. Even still, that play was about 25% Brennan and 75% KB. Sort of like Maxs TDs- not as impressive on film as on paper.
Why do you have to be such a miserable old bitch every day?

Are you miserable because you think Max’s stats were deceptive? How does that work exactly

You're high earlier than usual today. There's facilities that can help.

At least we have narrowed it down from 4 to 2 QB’s. 4 is too many to get in a groove. Let the 2 battle it out in the fall.

If we are going off of today and you aren’t biased one way or the other, neither Max or Myles separated themselves based on this performance. Neither was consistent, but that’s to be expected splitting reps as much as they did. This battle will go deep into the summer and we won’t see how it plays out. That’s just how it goes. But we should have a good to great starting QB who’s has to earn it vs solid competition over an extended period when it’s done.

I think TJ was in it. Not Nuss though.

It’s always down to 2. If they are really going to run Brady’s offense, it will be Johnson

Brennan's poor body language shaking his head on multiple incomplete passes tells me all I need to know.

He did that in the loss to MSU when drives were failing. Dude is talented enough to start but is not a leader. He doesn't have that IT factor.

ummm, no

You saw what you wanted to see, you didnt watch the game. Against the 1s Max was struggling to be #3. He was 4/10 for 60 yards. Of course, TJ with his 2 picks solidified that #3 spot later on. Nuss is redshirting at this point, with 3 picks

Max only shined when Peetz inserted a 1 on offensive against the 2s, and Kirklin brutalized that defense. Max was throwing to a receiver against inferior coverage. Kirklin was 10 for 166 with 2 TDs when playing against the 2s

Myles made the tough TD throws. Max and Nuss were to wide open receivers. And Max still made that difficult with a terribly under thrown pass on his 1st TD. Any QB on the roster should have made those throws look easy

With that being said, the problem on the offense is Peetz. All the Qbs were standing their with their thumb up their arse, while Peetz was debating on packages, personnel match ups, down and distance, etc. before sending in each play. Hes too new at this for the SEC. It looks like OTJ training at this point. So it wont surprise me that Peetz does go with Max, because he needs someone that might bail out his play calling. If so, you lose Myles and TJ to the portal.

Thats a bad beat

Again, I'll point out, he wasn't throwing to the DB, so it wasn't underthrown.

Its been YEARS and people still can't grasp these jump ball throws and back shoulder throws. Burrows first TD to Chase against Bama in 19 was similar. No criticizing that. Lol
