Max Johnson? This is from landing spot for Rattler

Someone is going to get hired at LSU, and that coach will have a decision to make at QB. Max Johnson has shown promise, but there's talk he could be looking to transfer as well. Rattler would give whoever lands in Baton Rouge a quarterback to build around in Year 1. Rattler, meanwhile, would benefit from a lot of skill talent and a SEC schedule to prove himself against.

I still have faith Max is gonna come around in a better offensive system (plays that don't take decades to develop). And whoever the next coach is needs to tap into his running ability. The coaches scared him to death about running this year. He needs to pack on a little more muscle and deliver some blows.

I don't get why people think Rattler sucks. He had a good 2020, which was a short year, and was average this year. Even Caleb Williams struggled, and I don't think anyone would have a problem taking him.

Did you notice that OU looked better as soon as he got benched? He’s a selfish player. He’s talented but not someone you build a future around.

The issue is not whether Rattler is ugly or whether he is talented. He clearly has underperformed his press clippings.
I do not know the guy, but there is a long line of of reports about him being a self -entitled jerk and the better question is whether he is more trouble than he is worth.

Rattler should be looking to Ole Miss and Kiffin to try to reboot him as an attractive option for an NFL team.
