If you are still trying to make your case 12 years later it probably means you have no case. Leinart would have been exposed just like Mr Heisman Jason White was exposed in the championship game. Exhibit "A" is Leinart's alleged NFL "career".

So because he had a subpar pro career. Means that he wouldn't have been able to take on LSU in the title game? That's airtight logic dude.

They have their right to say they had a title that year, but only LSU can claim that they played in the National Championship Game and won it. And every college player wanted to hoist the crystal football at the end of the year...not that AP trophy from the 1520s. They had a great team though.

Ask Leinhart to explain this in 2003:

OU 59 UCLA 14
USC 47 UCLA 22

OU lost to a 11 win Kansas St team
USC lost to a 6 loss California team

The right team made it when you avoid the "eye test" and look at the facts

It's not a Damn shared title. The BCS bullshite was established as the one and only title holder and we all know who held that title.

The 30 for 30 mentioned nothing about a split title or LSU. They just said USC won the national championship

The also stated a few times that the 03 rise bowl was the national championship game which is an outright lie. Funny how they shape that.

There is no case and how anyone can say "it's a national title" including the ones that state in record books that there was a "split". The BCS was invented to put the #1 and #2 teams together for the national championship. The polls were used as a part to determine this but they were Irrelevant other than that.

When USC didn't et their way, they cried and used their Hollywood stroke to make headlines. The AP stated after the rose bowl (before the sugar bowl was played) that they would rank USC their national champion. He AP crowing a team their number one during the BCS Era carry a no more weight than me and 4 posters sitting around and saying we crown team X our national champion. The fact that anyone outside of USC states that it is a split is laughable.

Rules are rules and in this case, they were written. Not the "oh well you have to win your conference or no mulligans" unwritten rules in BCS past. USC and the AP were but hurt and cried like a bunch of bitches because just like the documentary showed, they believed they hype and LA fabrication and no one could tell the different. pretty much said "nu uh. We are the champions " even though they did not play in the game that their school chose and voted to be apart of to decide a national champion.

Now that's funny. What's your logic "dude" ? 50K plus posts and that's all you have? Give me your best case for why Leinart and USC would have beaten LSU in the championship game. I gave you mine, one Heisman trophy winner QB would have had no more success than another Heisman trophy winning QB that night. You can't refute that so you attack the messenger. Weak logic dude.

You can take the exact scenario LSU and USC had in 2003. Put Notre Dame, Michigan, Ohio State, or some other premadonna school and USC is not recognized as anything but runner up that year.
THE Crystal Ball is not in Los Angeles.

nd I'm sure every LSU player on that '03 team says they would whip USC's arse...
Auburn would have beaten them the next year as well.

People don't remember how good LSU's defense was in 2003. Watch the national championship game. It's disgusting. LSU sacks White all three plays of one series.

USC would have beaten Auburn just as they did in 2002 and 2003.

Hey JBeam what's your logic here dude? You think Leinart's alleged pro career was a fluke and he was really good in college?

No its not. It was a number 1 ranking by a sports media group. That's it.

They are darn lucky the NCAA took it easy on them and only vacated wins in 2004 and 2005.

You have to remember Leinart is the guy who said "we're the better team" in a post game interview after Texas beat them in the Rose Bowl. So I wouldn't expect him to look at things impartially.

I don't know why you do- he has been a total arse since his college days & I see nothing in him to think he has changed. One of the biggest jerks I have ever seen or heard...

The AP title of 2003. Never gets old hearing another USC Trojan claim this. USC won their BS AP participation award because they're flashy USC. If Iowa had their same season it wouldn't have been as much big news
