Dave Aranda is most likely going to be fired at Baylor this year so he could come back and be the DC. It is not the end of the world if he leaves.

He was OK last season. Not bad. Not great. OK. This season thus far he was not good at all vs FSU (basically mitigated his best defensive player, Perkins, by trying to force him into a position he's not suited for) and was solid against an Miss. St offense whom I'm not sure even knows what they are trying to do on offense.

That's not to say this LSU defense isn't about to get much, much, better as the season goes on. We don't know. But I don't think House has done enough yet to say LSU ABSOLUTELY has to keep him.

I doubt he's actually a candidate for the Mich St. job. But if he is I won't be excited or disappointed. At least not yet

I would love for Dave Aranda to come back here if House leaves.

I do not think Dave is wired to lead a program as a Head Coach.

Hopefully all the pieces fall into place. He gets a HC job somewhere, Aranda gets fired at Baylor(doubtful), Aranda comes home. Come home Aranda. Bet we'd have stud LB play no matter who's in.

Matt House is not getting the head job at Michigan State even if he wanted it. It's not Michigan, Ohio State, or Penn State, but it's still a major job. They aren't hiring someone with zero head coaching experience anywhere on their resume. Esp not after the Mel Tucker debacle.

Zero chance House gets the job, but I do expect him to return to the NFL.

Kelly can't afford to keep a guy that hearts not into recruiting.

I think house is good. Either way LSU will be fine.
