Oh yea! Let’s get really mad at a dude on the radio or a podcast who makes a living by having and opinion! Or the guy who writes opinions in the paper!

Damn those bastards! Their opinions were wrong!

They didn’t just have an opinion. They had an agenda.

It wasn’t just a dude on the radio. It was a concerted campaign and much of it played out on this very board. I’m talking 50-100 posters at least who not only wanted him but in unison declared he was the ONLY option. It was the most ridiculous idea ever

So yeah, damn them.

I still think Napier will be successful, but LSU undoubtedly got the better coach.

I told someone yesterday I would set the over under at 5 and take the under.

Have no data to prove this but I feel like all the Billy pumpers were the same people that wanted Nuss to start the first half of the season, they clearly aren’t the brightest tools in the shed.

I have the same feeling. Must be eating them alive seeing Daniels make play after play with a head coach that “isn’t one of them”. frick them - let them weep

The world appears to be evolving from their ways and so is LSU

Is it true that Charlie Hannagriff was pushing Napier for coach during his radio shows?

Running a big name SEC team is way different from his experience.

So far...doesn't look good

Neal Brown at Troy was a cautionary tale for a P5 school hiring Napier.

Dude might get fired this year at WV

Bunch of creepy Napier stans in this thread. He’s not going to cut it in the SEC. You can see he’s in massively over his head

Leave Napier alone. He's a good coach. His first year at ULL they went 7-7. In his fourth they went 12-1 (8-0) and were in the top twenty. Will he be the answer at Florida, that remains to be seen but judging him after just one year is unfair.

Why leave Napier alone exactly? Why are people so defensive over another team's coach? I really don't understand this. Because he coached at a Louisiana school he used as a stepping stone? So what? Coaches do it all the time. He's the coach of Florida. I am not about to "leave him alone." I don't think he's that great. I think he makes horrible in game decisions. Florida fans say this every single week. They are growing tired of it already.

Of course he deserves more than a year, but it's perfectly fine for people to call their shot now. He very well could turn it around, but I am thankful he is not the coach at LSU.

My sympathies with all the Napier fans and media personnel that tried to pump him as the next LSU coach
it was almost identical to the Facebook moms and media push to hire O mid 2016.

Thank God Woodward is smarter than alleva

I truly don't understand why some are so defensive over the guy. He is from Tennessee and got started at Clemson and Bama. So what if he coached at ULL and used them as a stepping stone. He's not worth being defensive over. He's the coach of Florida. I may dislike Florida more than Bama. It's pretty even. LSU had no reason to consider him at this point in his career.

When they were pushing Napier, I got in a couple threads and wanted to know why they were so big on him. I was looking for a reason to feel good about him in case LSU hired him. They would always repeat the same two weak arguments, and then when I wasn't satisfied they got insulting. So yeah... I am taking some enjoyment in his mediocre season.
