My sympathies with all the Napier fans and media personnel that tried to pump him as the next LSU coach. Kudos especially to the LSU administration for not falling for it

The whole lsu nation is breathing a prayer of thanks for not falling for the hype of an unproven coach. Napier will get better, but UF won’t be relevant for a while. But BK came ready to play and earn his $100M.

Leave Napier alone. He's a good coach. His first year at ULL they went 7-7. In his fourth they went 12-1 (8-0) and were in the top twenty. Will he be the answer at Florida, that remains to be seen but judging him after just one year is unfair.

He inherited a team that went to NY6 bowls three of the previous four years. Urban Meyer stepped into a far worse situation and went 9-3 in year one. And if you’re gonna tell me it’s not fair to compare him to Urban, GTFO. He took the Florida job not FAU.
In any event he was never a candidate here anyway. Jordy thought he was a king maker after that shite he and the polish prince pulled with O. Thank god we have adults in the room now.

Have no data to prove this but I feel like all the Billy pumpers were the same people that wanted Nuss to start the first half of the season, they clearly aren’t the brightest tools in the shed.

Generally people should give a coach at least 2 full recruiting classes before judging regardless of the situation. Coaches on fire early have fizzled out before too.
