It's like every frickin fan thinks they're on the team.
We can speculate and play "what if" all we want. It's kinda OUR job to be that way.

We don't want to be ranked #1 when we play Bama even if we are fortunate enough to be undefeated. Bama with motivation is not usually a good thing.

Only folks who can make that happen is those gutsy young men and their coaches on this Tiger Football Team. They alone control their own destiny. IMO they are fully capable of achieving an amazing feat...beat Bama and go undefeated.

I wont downvote you. The committee selects a lot on resume and we would have the best and it would not be close. Bama would not have 1 quality win by the time they play us. They
would have us 1 and that poll will be the only one that counts once it comes out.

I think someone in the thread mentioned "committee rankings"; and to be honest, I could see LSU being #1 in that going into the Bama game, under that scenario. LSU would have beaten UGA, Auburn and Miami, teams ranked pretty high.
Bama is still cruising just on reputation until we play.
Ohio State has a decent resume, Notre Dame has similar. Curious to see where Clemson falls in this group.

If we beat Georgia and are undefeated going into Bama the playoff rankings really should have us at 1. It wouldn’t even be close we’d have the best resume by far
