Brian Kelly said the other day that it was his decision to put him out again on his second muffed punt because he believes in him and he is really talented. Coach Kelly is definitely not giving up on him!

I thought they should definitely put someone else back there, but I can respect this decision.

There's no chance we're losing to Southern. If Nabers flubs another one it won't impact whether we win or not and it sends a great message that Kelly has his guys backs. There's basically no downside to this decision THIS week.

I'm going to be really nervous about Nabers returning punts in games that will be tight though. Hopefully he does great this weekend and never looks back.

He 100% is gonna break one. Sports center and Bleacher Report will be all over it too after kicking is below the belt all week.

Good. If I flubs one against Southern, it won't hurt us and that'll be it for him. But he won the job for a reason. Hope he gets right.

I bet the Superdome ceiling played a part in the muffed punts.

Much different backdrop than the indoor facility and Tiger Stadium.

Nabers will get it right.

If it has to be feast or famine, Nabers is the one I think has the mostest.

Surprised they are going to put him back out there. But if he puts in the reps, works on that form, and want it... let him go, they kid is special.

As critical as I’ve been of Kelly I like this move.

Now he needs to field every single one to stay there vs. Moo

Actually it is probably a good chance to have him get some live experience catching the ball.
