The two billionaires are still on our roster

He literally turned 74 today and now is almost 75. Dude didn’t even get a day at 74 before becoming almost 75.
And to think he’s 5 years younger than the sitting POTUS.

Who cares. The Bama melt would be epic.

Tidbits to consider:
- BR has a lot more to offer than small Tuscaloosa
- Sabans still have friends in BR
- Their estate that they lived in previously, is available
- Saban’s ego & desire to truly be considered the all-time best HC would push him to be the only coach to win multiple championships at 2 major programs

How many G league players will Saban bring?
Posted on 10/31/25 at 11:57 pm to geauxcoco
30 million per year 3 year contract with a guaranteed 30 million+ a year roster make it happen.

Makes sense to throw the bank at Saban right now
He would be 74. That’s four years younger than Joe Biden was when he was “elected” President. You want a coach who is battling prostate cancer, arthritis and dementia?

5 years 100 million. There won’t be a buy out, he’s never getting fired.

Or just hire Lane Kiffin… problem solved.
This board is acting like the program is in shambles. The next coach is going to have a very solid roster. This isn’t like when BK took over after O.

Exactly, besides the politics involved…BK left things in much better shape than O left it.

BR. Right. Lots more violent crime. lol

He’s not coaching, we could get Mrs. Terry in his ear and if for some miracle it happened…he would right this ship quickly, Make him an offer she cant let him refuse ;)
At this point in life, it's about doing what you want to do. And Saban realized a couple years ago that he doesn't want to coach anymore, due to how NIL has completely changed the game.
He ain't coaching anymore.

Go ahead and put in on your Christmas Wish List.

You saving and need to give up the Saban worship. There’s nine fricking threads on the front page about him. The guy is fricking gone. He’s not coming back to coaching. He’s 74 years old. Give it a rest.

Honestly; even if saban were to come and not win a championship, he would right the program and set it up for success for another decade or so. We need that so badly. Pay him 20 million a year for 4-5 years. Well worth it

He isn’t coming here as I mentioned yesterday.
