Was it against Wisconsin the last time they played where the LSU OL cheap shot the dude after he picked it off to end the game? ??

Yes. That was at Lambeau. Just a shitty game all around. Great venue though.

I don’t blame them. I’m opting out of the bowl game as well.

It’s taken how long for this mindset to take over college football? Less than ten, I think.

Sad, so sad.

After such a (reasonably) (marginally) good season and arguably the best QB LSU has ever fielded.

Again, the most valuable thing here is the extra practices. I am sure the coaching staff will prioritize those who are returning with reps. It’s an extra 15 spring practices with a scrimmage thrown in.

Yeah the players get bowl swag but with NIL even that doesn’t mean near as much.

An LSU vs. Wisconsin game at 11 AM on New Years Day is going to attract literally dozens of viewers outside of Louisiana and Wisconsin.

Fournette and McCaffrey started it on 2016.

not surprised but it seems nothing was going to make y’all happy.

Iowa in Orlando was going to be complaining about a boring opponent in Orlando for a third time.

Notre dame people were talking earlier in the week how it was a no win situation that we likely get beat with our opt outs.

We get a New Year’s Day bowl in what is a bowl that’s been around for a while vs a name program and people are pissed.

Would y’all rather the liberty bowl?

I mean sure I would have rathered the peach bowl vs Penn state but they are 10-2 we are 9-3

Tell the committee to take this Wisconsin game and shove it up their own arse. I’ve been preparing to play against Notre Dame.

So if teams need to have the same record to be matched up, why do we get a 7-5 team?

Anybody who would complain about playing Iowa, who just played for a conference championship, is an idiot anyway. Most fans with functioning brains would love that match-up.

This Wisky match-up is atrocious. I doubt Wisky fans want it. They're probably excited about a trip to Tampa in January to thaw out though

They meaning OM. Get mad at verge ausbery for scheduling prime time early matchups.

It hurts us if we lose. Doesn’t help and wears out the fan base on traveling for bowl season making bowls not want to take us.
