If lsu is a two loss sec champ they will have as much right as anyone to go. It will be hard to justify leaving out the sec champ.

Best LSU can do is win out. Hopefully, LSU gets offer for top bowl game. Our chances came to an end at Ole Miss game.

I really don't know where the irrational exuberance about this team being a playoff contender comes from. The defense is still pathetic and paper thin in the secondary. What happens if LSU loses at Bama next week? Will the same people be demanding a new head coach?

We win out, including beating an undefeated Georgia in the SECCG, no way they keep us out.

It's kinda embarrassing that some think we should make the playoff. Bottom line the dog shite defense of the 1st half of the season is rightfully keeping us out. It remains to be seen if we can continue to improve and perhaps get us an SEC championship and NY6 bowl game.

FSU - undefeated ACC champ

Plus they have head to head on us. Even if we run the table they have to lose 3 times, or lose twice and not win the ACC.

SEC has not done well Out of conference this year. A 2 loss sec team is not getting in over a 1 loss P-5 conference champ.

1 loss Bama beating an undefeated UGA could be left out due to the Texas loss if it comes down to 1 loss Texas or 1 loss bama for final spot.

If LSU wins the the SEC they will not be left but but they sit here with two losses in October. It's an absurd conversation right now.

Nope. LSU will be left out of the playoff because Matt House is unable to scheme an average to below average defense with a group of players that is more than capable.

Instead, this idiot has set a record in futility.

It would likely take some of that 2007 incredibly wild voodoo sht happen in the last 3?weeks of the season. There’s no sensible math, the only thing is gonna be some crazy multiple upsets. But still the most probable outcome doesn’t happen unless we WIN OUT

LSU had no chance to be in the playoffs. Still, wish that Stanford had won.

FSU - undefeated ACC champ Oregon/Washington - undefeated or 1 loss Pac12 champ OSU/Michigan - undefeated Big10 champ Texas/Oklahoma - 1 loss Big12 champ LSU - 2 loss SEC champ? Don’t see how they fit in here. Need lots of chaos.

Posted this a while back. People need to understand the reality that LSU will not make the playoffs under no circumstances because the Pack 12 is ending this year AND they actually have 2 really good teams. I believe Oregon gets the spot.

LSU probably doesn’t make it but the ACC is not looking that great outside of FSU. UNC losing last night to freaking Ga Tech is hurting them.

If FSU loses a game, and then loses to UNC in the title game and ends up with two losses, UNC would not be going to the title game over a two loss LSU.

LSU will almost assuredly not go to the playoffs, but FSU needs to lose one regular season game and the ACC CG to open the door if the PAC 11 teams don’t cannibalize each other or the Big 12.

I think Oregon wins out. They should have beat Washington who isn’t all that in my opinion.

Honestly-

I could see 2 Big 10 teams (undefeated Michigan, 1 loss Ohio State) taken before 2 loss LSU gets in.

And you're not addressing 1 loss UGA in that scenario. We saw last year with TCU, undefeated going into the conference championship carries a lot of weight. You might counter that TCU got scorched in the finals, but them beating Michigan in the semis would justify their making it.

I could see UGA, Fla State, a Big 10 team (the media is praying for it to be Ohio State now ) and Washington.

Like someone pointed out, LSU is desperately trying to get into the NY6 picture.
