LSU/UK Officiating (w/ pics and stats)

LSU didn’t play great, Kentucky won the turnover battle, Lane punted on 4th and 1, and Baker’s soft zone defense sucked, but we all watched every questionable call and no call go against LSU… and we still only lost by 1 point in OT.
This was the worst officiated LSU game I have ever watched.
Besides the timeout negating a false start and the ref swallowing his whistle on the tush push before half because “too much was at stake” and he “would’ve been killed” if he made the correct call, here are some other game changing no calls from the refs.
These were all directly in front of the ball carrier right in sight of multiple refs.
- Carpenter shoved in the back on the punt return.
- Chadwick shoved in the back on the punt return.
- Geralds held on 3rd and long first down run.
- Woodland held on 3rd down conversion.
- Princewell held on 3rd and long first down run.
Note: Kentucky was called for 2 penalties all night for 20 yards.
For record, penalties UK had by game prior to LSU:
- Youngstown State: 6 for 70 yards.
- Alabama: 8 for 70 yards.
- Texas A&M: 7 for 59 yards.
- South Alabama: 2 for 22 yards.
- South Carolina: 4 for 38 yards.

On top of these we can also add the missed false start and the UK player throwing Sam down 3-4 seconds after the whistle.
The sec officials are either the biggest bunch of incompetent retards or it’s corruption.
Honestly conference officials shouldn’t exist, just have ncaa officials, pay them well and then have crews from different areas in games.
The holding ones are annoying but holding happens all the time. The blocks in the back are ridiculous to not be called and missing a false start is unacceptable

And shortly before that the missed illegal motion.

Confirms once again that the SEC is corrupt AF.

All those non-calls remind me of a certain zebra crew that has worked most of my son's high school football games this year so far. Multiple penalties on our team, a couple on the other team.
Two mysterious calls at the end of the game in Week 5 with no explanation given resulted in a heartbreaking loss for my son's team by the same crew who has officiated 4 of their 6 games thus far.
I know there is referee shortage, but blatant calls-no calls are getting ridiculous.
So it happens at every stage...high school, college, NFL.

Not even mention the Admin stoppage of the game to review the catch to wilson....

Deuce being held on the 2 pt conversion

What about the Kentucky player punting the ball and seemingly no one saw that or cared

If SEC vs LSU ever goes to trial I hope our representation demands SEC officiation communication to be part of discovery.

You couldve added about 3 more holds on Prince they were out in the open and not in the scrum.
The holding no calls and block in back, were the most egrigious issue to me.
The tush push was questionable but not as bad as the no holding calls. The stopped Minchey for maybe 1 sec then the pile bagan moving again.
Did anybody ever line up the false start with Stein calling timeout?

Does this surprise anyone. The SEC has had an agenda against LSU from the SEC office. Who is responsible for oversight of refs.
Get used to it as long as Sankey the Bama puppet is in charge.
Write down the names of every ref doing Kentucky game and refuse to play with that crew. Or just to stir up some crap file a lawsuit for racketeering against LSU and depose every one of the refs and SEC officials.
If their coming after us anyway what does it hurt.
They already violated the court order from the Louisiana judge.

This one had me laughing hard. I think this SEC crew was just incredibly incompetent. Really, that's the only one the SEC let LSU get away with but it was hilarious watching it live. Twice.

It really was.
Unfortunately, this is going to be the norm here for a while. The SEC is just determined to prevent Lane from achieving anything, at least this year, but likely beyond.
Thanks for putting this together. There will be more opportunities for you to continue this work in the future

Thanks for reminding me how egregious the refs were in this game. SEC SUCKS arse! Yes, I blame Sankey for all of this shite. I don't expect perfection, but c'mon dude, earn your fricking paycheck.
