Haven't heard much. He's a pretty substantial draft risk after a really solid combine
Do not count on Nawrocki or Santarelli. Both are going to be paid handsomely. It would take something unusual to happen for either to come to campus.
Expect Washington and Murphy to sign. Doyle had very high praise for Roberson, could have been a 2nd rounder had he not been hurt for much of his senior season. Still a draft risk but I'd expect Roberson to be a Tiger.

The focus is now on top end pitching. From everything I've been hearing, the chances at getting 1/3 of Schmidt, Hirsch, and Sides seem to be a sure thing. Decent likelihood at getting 2.
Nate Davis to LSU is official per his Instagram
Board and Armstrong. Mik’d Up can be a fun listen but they don’t know what they’re talking about numbers wise. Scone regurgitates what we say anyways.
I think at most we can add 2 more portal arms. Jays going to have to make cuts in a few places to make numbers work.
Too high. I have no idea what our budget is for this offseason but I have to believe 90% of what’s left is allocated to the HS class.

You’ll be happier with 2/3 years of Washington, Murphy, or Davis than you would be with 1 year of Hotchkiss. That isn’t even taking into account the chances of landing Santarelli, Adams, Weinstein, or Nawrocki just on the position side.
Hotchkiss is no longer an option. Solitaria is borderline not an option. Wachs is realistic.

Kurland has also officially removed his name from the draft. Our infield is set.
No, but this was the rumor for a while. Ole Miss getting to Omaha definitely threw a wrench in those plans, eerily similar to what happened in football a few months ago.
If we could somehow, someway still get Federico to LSU to play CF this is an astonishingly good transfer class.
Lol. We have the chance at Santarelli/Adams, Braun plays 1B, Serna can as well. We are not moving Pearson to 1B.

We are gonna snag 1 more OF in the portal and be done on the position side. Our CF right now is either Patrick or a freshman, which is the only fright right now.
Kurland is a 3+ year SEC starter at a position of need for us that had a sophomore slump and dealt with injury.

Led off in the CWS Finals against LSU in all 3 games and went 5-11. Jay mentioned he took Stanfield because of what stuck out in his ABs vs Skenes, look at how that took out. This is a really great nab.
It’s not so big when you realize many will sign and some will go to JUCO. You have to model this portal class around the HS class.

I have a hunch that Watters may be visiting right now. Just makes sense with the slew of Jordan's following and going from A&M to Texas, BR makes a lot of sense as a next stop and actually puts us in a great spot as his last(?) visit.

Texas board confirms his LSU visit started yesterday, not yet sure if it is over.
Baseball America recently covered this, but it's just an insane class of Top 100 guys

LHP Schmidt (won't make it)
RHP Hirschkorn (won't make it)
RHP Stringer (can make it and would contribute)
RHP Sides (likely to sign, easy day 1 impact)
LHP/OF Nawrocki (pretty torn here. Lean towards signing but could impact LSU as either a pitcher or position player next year)

OF Washington
OF Davis
OF Murphy (The thought is we land one of these 3, each would compete for a starting spot immediately)
OF Roberson (Should come, will compete)
INF Weinstein (Like our chances, will compete at 2B/3B)
1B/OF Santarelli (Likely to sign but instant 1B/DH impact here)
1B Adams (Torn here, would contribute year 1)

The rest of the signing class I'm pretty sure wouldn't be able to make a large year 1 impact as the OP had asked, at least aren't obvious candidates to.

I hope the Lodise commitment means Tech can't compete here anymore. Money priority wise.
Ark or Ole Miss. We are not pursuing
