Screw all that

Fix concessions

Just let schools run them and sell basic arse burgers, hot dogs, nachos and popcorn.

LSU Athletics is proud to announce its year-long celebration of 100 Years in Tiger Stadium, highlighted by stadium upgrades, events, storytelling initiatives, and a season-long celebration throughout the 2024 campaign.

Tiger Stadium, one of America’s most iconic sporting venues, first opened its gates on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 1924. Since then, the Tigers have won 450 contests in Death Valley, which has been home to two Heisman Trophy winners, three national championship teams, and 12 SEC title-winning squads.

The year-long celebration kicks off in Saturday’s 2023 home finale against Texas A&M, where the Tiger Stadium 100 logo and launch video will be played on the videoboard. Other events and celebrations will be announced throughout the year.

Included in the celebration are several upgrades to Tiger Stadium, including a new videoboard and lighting system, as well as other upgrades designed to enhance the game day experience.

The 2024 home schedule features several marquee matchups, including home contests against Oklahoma, UCLA, and Alabama. Information on the full 2024 schedule and season tickets will be announced in the coming weeks.

I wonder what percentage of the new videoboard will be occupied by Coca-Cola and Our Lady of the Lake ads.

Stadium was sold out, at capacity for Bama last year. We had good crowds this year for Auburn and Florida and will have a good crowd tomorrow.

So we now no longer claim 1958?

Upgrade the sound system, beef up the band, have them play more during the game instead of piped in music on big downs, bring Mike back out on the field for a very short period before pregame noise starts, concessions, contraflow, less corporate tailgating/loosen restrictions, etc.

So in the last five years LSU has listened to the fanbase and has upgraded lights, audio, video board and added beer.

I wonder what the next excuse will be for fans leaving early….poor hot dog quality?

The size and amount of the white spots on the video boards are embarrassing
