This right here is what college football is going to be about going forward for just about any team with NIL and Portal. This will be a yearly occurrence most of these players will be one and done,
The NFL just needs to go ahead and implement an official semi-pro minor league football system. (Just like MLB has) All this NIL BS has destroyed College Football. It's not sustainable long term. It's just semi-pro now, so just officially make if official.
If you want to get a College Degree, then go to college and play football. (No NIL and No Transfer Portal) You get your Athletic Scholarship and a small living stipend. That's it.
If you want to play professional football, you enter the minor leagues right out of high school. Play a few years, then get drafted by the NFL.
No flip flopping either, one or the other.

Playoffs. I don't think that unreasonable to have a real expectation of that. It's what we paid for and the - it takes 3-4 years does not apply anymore, it just doesn't.

I just want them to look like a team that cares what happens and looks well coached.
Brian Kelly teams just didn't always look well coached.
The SEC is tough every year but with Lane our offense should show major improvement. Give our defense a breather once in awhile.
I am guessing 8-4 or 9-3.

Winning an opener would be a great start.
Winning all Non-Confrence games points to good direction.
Winning every home game.
Splitting away games.
An effective Offense that minimizes 3rd and long. Protects the ball and scores points.
An effective Defense that gets off the field, exudes toughness. High stepping D-Linemen disrupting shite in the backfield. LB's with pop and Turn over machines in the Secondary.
LSU Semi-Pro FB = millions upon millions to make a former coachs go away, million dollar contracts for "student athletes." The Bar set itself.

A semblance of complementary football. Didn’t have that in 4 years under BK wanna see both sides of the ball actually being competent at the same time

It's not unreasonable. The game and methods of roster building have totally changed. That means the prior expediency of the expectations for success have changed with them.
LSU has a HC who, over the last 10 years, has won at places (FAU and Ole Miss) at a higher and more consistent level in those programs' recent history. At Ole Miss he did so by building rosters primarily through the transfer portal. He's already shown reaching the playoffs with a transfer heavy roster can be done (last year). So there is NO reasons to think it SHOULD take multiple years at LSU do to so. Look no further than last year's top 5 ranked transfer portal classes:
1. LSU - Fired coach
2. Texas Tech - CFP
3. Miami - CFP
4. Ole Miss - CFP
5. Oregon - CFP
Texas Tech and Miami were slightly above average programs...until they decided to go hard into the transfer market. That produced immediate success. Of course, the best example of how quickly a program can change is Indiana. It went from a program that was 3-9 in 2023, a program that had won 33 games over an EIGHT year span, to 27-2 in two years with a NC. Hell, this year's national championship game was a matchup between a teams that just TWO years prior when 3-9 (Indiana) and 7-6 (Miami)
The tradeoff for being able to sign good, experienced, players to immediately join your team is that patience level to achieve success has shrunk. You have the resources and the players. Make the CFP! Sorry, that is the landscape now.
