I've not hidden the fact that the threat of rostering the 2 players was the central conflict in this saga

And I said earlier that if any punishment goes beyond a fine it's bullshite. The fine would be mostly symbolic, also. No suspension of Lane or post season ban or anything like that.

The SEC knew since last week.

Last week the threat of LSU rostering the players was still there.

It was moot as of 9/4 in case you missed it.

We finalized the roster on 9/4 where it was impossible to roster the 2 "pros"?

I find it hard to believe this is that hard for you to follow, shtick boy.

Say bend the knee again. Maybe that will help.

I'm not confused.

Prior to last night, what prevented LSU from rostering the 2 players?

The threat of rostering the 2 players that the entire SEC told them not to

Seems like once the SEC released the rules, there was never a threat from LSU to roster those two players. They were interested in the result of the court case, but did they say after the SEC rules were released that they planned to roster those two players?

Did LSU state in any forum that they planned to defy the SEC rules?

Or was that just what was blown out of proportion by everyone else, including the other schools that were recruiting Harris and Wright?

And I didn't say you said that LSU should be punished or that they broke rules. You said that LSU "dropped" something. I am saying it's hard to "drop something" when you didn't do anything in the first place.

This whole thing was manufactured by the SEC and the media.

Greg's gotta go.

If not, rain lawsuits down from the heavens.

We need all of it.

Texts, emails, all correspondence, call logs, meetings, depositions.

The situation in Birmingham is untenable.

LSU could have done various things to bind themselves to never rostering the 2, and only did so last night.

And everything changed after that happened.

Was it a requirement that they fill the roster to 105 players at any point in the season?

Why would they need to bind themselves to never rostering certain players?

Again, this was manufactured BS and it sounds like you fell for it.

Have you not followed this saga?

That's the driver of the conflict

So you agree, there's no way these players can have any sort of damages against the SEC or LSU or anyone else right? They're just normal students who matriculated to LSU who were never going to play or be rostered by the team?

I have followed it very closely. Did LSU say at any point in time that they planned to defy SEC rules and put these two guys on the roster? That's what I mean by my question.

The SEC generated this situation, essentially loading the gun and putting it to LSU's head and saying "you better not do this thing," without LSU taking any particular action that was against the rules.

Wright didn't "sign" with LSU. What is it that LSU did that warranted the gun being put to their head?

What? Man, you really are incapable of having a normal conversation. I didn't say or even remotely imply any of this.

The SEC created the conflict. You are a willing participant in acting like LSU, and LSU alone, created this problem. Congrats on being duped.

I'll add - plenty of players go to a school and then ultimately do not end up on the roster. Wright's own agent declared today that he never signed anything with LSU. Harris was injured and unable to play. These guys knew the situation they were encountering, and they know the business they are part of. It's hilarious you think they don't.

Not now, but down the road a bit this should happen. It’d mean more coming after multiple titles in multiple sports.

You're dancing around the issue of these players being on LSU's roster.

If there was never a scenario where LSU would roster them, then they have no damages.

If there was a scenario where LSU may roster them, then there was conflict between LSU and the SEC.

That's why the finality of permanent exclusion from LSU was so important to this conflict. That occurred last night. Not before.

Do you really think those two players were honestly going to make a difference?

Gosh if we’d have just added those two guys we might’ve beat Clemson 60-10 instead of 51-10!

No, which is what makes this whole saga by LSU and the risk they took on so retarded. That's the worst part of this whole thing.

You are such a fig. I assume you probably get paid by TD for your shtick, to drive interactions, but damnit man, you have to live a sad life trying to live up to your BS.
