When was the last time the offense was ahead of the defense in the spring? I really can’t remember which is sad

April to September is always when LSU’s offense is the most prolific

I agree with pufftiger, by this time last year, people in the know were saying the offense looked like hot garbage.

I've heard similar rumblings but refuse to believe any of it until I see it against legit competition in the SEC.

“He says we may have the best 2 QB's on an LSU team at the same time for the first time ever.”

“Saying Brennan looks like a completely different person and is catching up to Burrow. “

EXACTLY the same things I heard from two TAF members that were there on the sidelines..

Maybe Joe Brady is that good.

I'm sure he's a good coach.. but I swear.. if we went 10 years with multiple Head coaches, OCs, QBs, and WRs just to have Brady come in and say "this is how to do offense" we've all got to be a little skeptical about WTF was going on.

I hear this shite every year, but to be fair, this is a better year if any to believe it. We sure wont be running the ball all game unless Emery is a stud from day 1. (Not saying he cant be, but freshman rb dont carry the ball 15+ times in the SEC unless they dominate. So I do follow and like what I hear about the 5 wide stuff if true.

Edit: Ed O has shown willingness to not be stubborn like Les was so keep that in mind.

Maybe but isn't payton considered an offensive genius. So now we have someone like him installing the passing offense at thesame time when we may have 2 of thebest QB's to ever play at LSU. I stress the MAY but that is how they are currently performing against ONE OF THE BEST DEFENSES IN THE SEC. Or did something change since last year. This defense may be better than last years sans Devin White. That is why it is more impressive to me that they are doing this so quickly which in turn tells me we have the QB's that can pick it up and perform in it quickly an efficiently.I too want to see it against another good defense but Cmon. Who do you think they are going against every day?

Had you? You really think Saban runs in spring game what he is working on in practice? So if they don't go pass crazy in spring game I'm a liar? Again,I just relayed what someone who was at the scrimmage was seeing and texting. Could care less if I "had" you or not.

I watched the offense embarrass the defense in a closed scrimmage moved to the indoor facility Canada’s year here

And it was somewhat similar to what I saw Sat in that at least 5 starters on defense did not play and high school SRs were running with the 1s

There’s plenty to be optimistic about, but just TIFWIW
