April Fools Day right ?

I understand.Just relaying what the guy at the scrimmage was saying. No argument here. We'll know in 2 years.

You really think Saban runs in spring game what he is working on in practice?
Saban ain’t our coach

So if they don't go pass crazy in spring game I'm a liar?
I assumed this was an April fools post, you’re the one who said liar. The fact that this same basic stuff gets said every year has jaded me a bit.

Could care less if I "had" you or not.
How much less could you care, clearly you cared enough to respond.

They are saying this may be the most prolific passing team in LSU history.
Stopped here
1. Rohan Davey 2001: 3347 yds
2. Jamarcus Russell 2006: 3129 yds
3. Zach Mettenberger 2013: 3082 yds
4. Joe Burrow 2018: 2894 yds
5. Matt Mauck 2003: 2825 yds
I'd say 2nd place is well within reach. Surpassing Davey would be very impressive indeed.

I believe it but the defense is short handed with injuries?
Posted on 4/1/19 at 9:53 pm to pufftiger
April fools or not a Saints style offense is one that I believe Brennan would thrive in so I could see him catching up to Burrow and being ready to break some records Burrow sets this year.
Of course while I am always optimistic, I am cautiously so about anything LSU offense related.

Hasn’t Lanard been held out due to an injury?

You almost had me until here. Best April fools post yet

Couldn't make it but had a buddy there and he showed me the texts from his bud who was at the scrimmage.

we've all got to be a little skeptical about WTF was going on.
Not really, Milies was never going to run and RPO offense because that wasn’t what he wanted the offense to look like no matter what he said!

He returned last week.

Surpassing Davey would be very impressive indeed.
That would have put us at 38th in the country last year.
Right behind Tom Herman and Texas at 258.3 ypg.
In all honesty I’m gonna be disappointed if we don’t get to 3k yards.
There’s been so much money invested and so many people fired just to generate a passing game.
If O can’t make it work with 5th year senior Joe I don’t know what it’ll take.

This defense may be better than last years sans Devin White. That is why it is more impressive to me that they are doing this so quickly which in turn tells me we have the QB's that can pick it up and perform in it quickly an efficiently.I too want to see it against another good defense but Cmon. Who do you think they are going against every day?
Let's remember Fulton is not suited up, neither is Lawrence and likely neither is Fehoko. This will have plenty to do with it.

At the same time that 5th yr Sr was a 1st time starter having arrived over the summer to a new team and OC.
I do think he makes a significant jump in efficiency and productivity in 2019 though.

I cannot wait to see if all this info on our O actually translates into offense in games...games like @Texas, Florida, @State, and @Alabama.

We'll see. Just looking at our talent and experience I feel more confident than I have in some time. I'm most interested in how our OL performs. If they are at least above average the offense should be very good.

I dont doubt the offense being good I just hope the defense isn't too down after losing Devin White and Greedy
